Currently live in a city in Yorkshire but I’d love to move back to York.
I lived there for university and it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. It’s magical and I know I’ll never go back which sucks.
I’m limited to occasional visits when we have the time. Which seems like never. Just take me back!
I didn't know you could see orcas from New Zealand! I'm from Michigan too, and moved in the opposite direction, to Alaska. You can see orcas from there also. I'd like to try visiting Siberia at some point, but it'll take a lot of work to get there.
Well, I’ve lived in both buffalo and New York City and some part of me still prefers the east coast, even though I’m originally from Southern California. My parents prefer the sun in So-Cal but I liked having an excuse to actually have to wear winter/ autumn clothes. I’m back in So-Cal since I went to the east coast for masters and have since graduated but snow is sooo pretty and I liked having all four seasons.
I also lived in Taiwan at one point in my 20s for a year and half to study mandarin. Taiwan or China would actually be pretty easy moves if I were to move out of country. I have dual Taiwan-American citizenship and grew up speaking mandarin and English at home with my parents so, there wouldn’t be a language barrier with either country.
Truthfully, if I were to move anywhere it’d probably be as cliche as it is, Europe. I have this very old romantic idealized view of Europe but I’ve always wanted to live in either Paris or London.
I'm brazilian, but I'd happily live anywhere in england, I guess. c: It's really my dream country! Anyone from there here? xD

I live in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, Europe. Whereas the outside of Germany more well know Bavaria (Dirndl, Lederhosen, Oktoberfest :-) ) has its farms and mountains, it´s flat here and we have steel and coal industry traditionally yet also very much new companies working in energy projects for the future. Its a melting pod of people from all over the world, you always hear foreign languages around, smell delicious foods out of an array of countries, hear interesting ideas. That´s my area and you can see, it´s still very industrial here.
I married on Maui and love Hawaii in general and would like to live there one day. I don´t know if this works out in the end bc Hawaii is pretty expensive and we don´t have a green card so far. A more realistic wish is to live up north in Germany, we love the upper most island of Sylt which is beautiful. Yet you never know, life is full of surprises! <3
Some Sylt impressions:

I was born, raised, and still live in small town Maine. My significant other and I have talked about moving to either Colorado, or Tennessee (Chattanooga specifically) after we graduate with our degrees.
If money and citizenship were no obstacle we would definitely leave the U.S. Probably for British Columbia, Canada or Australia, or Copenhagan, Denmark ...

Items I Would Sell My Soul For... (Currently not selling my soul for anything...will update accordingly)
I moved to the UK just over two years ago and travelling to Europe, Africa and the Middle East is super awesome. My current visa is two and a half years so I think I'll ride that out then look at moving to Canada.
Ultimately though, home will always be New Zealand, I am 100% a kiwi. And I definitely will live there permanently once I've explored as much of the world as I can.
I wanna get my duel citizenship and live in Canada, With the way my friend currently lives there it seems like that is how I will open myself to some freedom seeing as all things that worry or trouble me would kinda be left in the states and then I would have ONE WHOLE FRIEND to hang out with wooo!
Italy! I love in San Diego right now, which is beautiful, but doesn’t really fit my vibe. My uncle just got granted citizenship in Italy, he and my aunt have to live there for 3 years before actually obtaining it, but my goodness would that be a dream! My husband and I are considering it, especially since we have a baby on the way. We don’t necessarily want to stay in California much longer, much less the US! *sigh... a girl can dream!

I too live in North Rhyne Westphalia in Germany. In a relatively small city called Krefeld. A very urban place, but still with ist green oasis here and there in form of a small forest and parks and surrounded by vast fields outside the city. Technically I can’t complain. I live in a bright, big flat in the city center, with a garage form y tiny laytonmobile-esque car. All I need is just a short walk away, and the city even has a zoo. Problem ist that I feel much closer to the water. My mother and grandmother took me tot he shores ever since I was not even a year old. And I dont talk about the fancy clean tourist beaches either. We used to walk hours over the beach, searching for sharkteeth, even in winter. And I love it. I still do. As harsh and cold as it can be, I long for the coast.
Ideally, I would love a little house with a little library room, wintergarden and tiny kitchen for tea, maybe 30 minutes of walk from the coast. So that when work is rough, I can stray away from home, have the coast winds ruffle my hair and the sound of beaching waves soothe my soul. To come home into a warm, place with lots of wood and a tea.
But owning a house here is getting increadingly impossible. So even if , I would have to settle for a flat. Now. I’m 33. I should be able to pull it off. But I am also very scared and moving so far away from all my family and friends scares me. I am very worried about being constantly alone and have a rough time making new friends. But I can still dream, right?
Edit: I just noticed that is in surprisingly similar shoes! waves Hope you can fulfill that dream one day! NRW is by no means the worst place tob e, but I really understand why you want to leave, too.

Currently I live in Las Vegas. I think I want to live anywhere but here.
I live in the U.S., and I currently live in Southern California.
I hope to live further north in the future, but I'm still not 100% sure on which state. I'm from Washington state originally, and though I love Washington's beauty, I don't want to the deal with the near constant gloomy weather that western Washington is known for. I might try living on the eastern part of it, or maybe Idaho or Montana. Of course, Oregon is gorgeous too.
In Seattle proper. But the rent is so high and buying a house is out of the question.
