Magnus couldn't help but snicker a little. "Aww it looks so cute." It was so Merlin. He found the game, with a little difficulty. "Found it Merls, now to whoop your booty in my pet styling prowess." He smirked. Then Callista told Merlin how to show him the pictures. "Ooh yeah didn't think about internet. But I've seen 'is pets all the time. 'E's got like 9,000 pets," he said exaggeratedly.
"I had to ask people to please refrain from magic for our lesson so that we could have a better chance of getting things to work. Of course you can use your own phone dear," Brookvale replied.
Just then Blade appeared. He looked like he couldn't believe he was actually there.
"That makes more sense than a baby wheel," Magnus said. "Yeah I guess I do ave a few pets."
Blade shyly came over to Callista. "Hi. Er yeah. I got one from Granddad in the mail. Arrived yesterday afternoon." He pulled a box out of his bag. It was an Iphone ten with a custom protective cover of music notes.
Blade was overwhelmed with all the words and half of them made no sense. "A card that eats chips sounds strange."
"Yes Ms Zabini," Professor Brookvale said coming over. "Do you need help with the telephones?"
"Hmm, let's think of a wizard friendly way to explain this..." Professor Brookvale said, "Think of Gringotts. When you use your key you can access your vault right? Well a credit card is essentially a key. On the back strip it carries information that is broken down into codes. When a card is used the numbers associated with it are processed like a key." She pulled out her own credit card. "See these numbers here? It tells you my bank and my account. When a card is swiped on this stripe, it sends the signals to my bank that I bought stuff and my money is transferred to the bank of the sales person. I think that's as boiled down as I can manage."
Blade was looking at the card with fascination. "This can be carried instead of lots of gold?" He handed it back to the professor. And something Callie said just hit home. "Oh, er, I won't be able to get one of those cards. So I guess we'll forgo the music."
I'm sorry but no points can be awarded since neither found a partner nor did the assignment.
