: On the Terrapin Glider all food is health food. Glad you made it! You already seem to be enjoying yourself, you are amongst friends.

Heading over to the bar to get the drinks so noticed a group of old friends sitting at a table. Making my way over to them I sat down a said hi to to them all. Taking a sip of my drink we all began to play catch up. By the time the 3rd drink was finished I was feeling very happy. I glanced around the room and noticed V and Duane at their tables drinkless. OOPSS!! I motioned them over to join us and wobbled over to the bar to get their drinks for the second time.

Bohicon laughed at when she was eating the cookies, so happy she enjoyed them. It was then that she saw that made it on board just in time! She gave him a big hug and some broken cookies. It is common knowledge that the broken cookies contain no calories and nothing bad for your health. At least this is what Bohicon insists on believing and so far so good. After agreeing to meet later in the lounge, Bohicon ventured off to find her stateroom.

nabs some broken cookies mmm macadaia nut and rum yummm..takes the two drinks from chook V looks up her noticing she is carrying a fourth hahah she IS going to make this trip fun..i would have a couple n catch up with her as duane n V giggle my pants off...oh wait looks down..i am not wearing any just this long top just the right size....quits thinking and drinks "toast to frieda for taking on this vacation for us all!!"

Weldon has changed from his mechanics coveralls to a tuxedo, his mane is brushed back and the fur on his head is expertly coifed. He is the epitome of a suave and debonair...waiter? He breezes up to , "We are having a seafood buffet later on this evening, but I can sneak you some Sacred Lands Baked Seabass and lemon drizzle. Would you like a drink with that?"

Bohicon relaxed with her friends in the lounge grateful to for this special time on a wonderful adventure, free of worries and stress. brought the tastiest drinks from the bar and there seemed to be an endless supply of delicious snacks. The excitement of the day caught up to Bohicon as she finished her last drink and bid goodnight to her friends. She made her way back to her stateroom and may have slept before her head even hit the pillow.

After several hours of jumping across the Subeteverse picking up all the rest of the travelers it was time to settle into somewhat of a routine aboard the Terrapin Glider. The destination was already programed into the guidance computers, the ship could fly itself. Frieda retired to her stateroom, bathed and dressed for the evening meal with the passengers, her friends.

Challenge: The Best Menu Ever

Having swallowed a Mermaid potion, Tinkerbabe decided to swim to see if she could catch and the group if the Terrapin Glider lands for a bit. She notices a fishing hook floating in the water and realizes that may be having a craving for baked fish again this evening. Tinkerbabe attaches a note to his hook wishing everyone a fabulous evening. They sure will be surprised that she was under the water when they passed by!

Her tommy growls, reminding her that she has been craving [item2=Bento Sushi] lately. Or, maybe she’ll have baked shark when she gets home.

Sorry that she couldn’t actually take the trip, Tinkerbabe heads back to the training center to continue training her numerous pets.

Soup [item2=Lobster Bisque] This creamy lobster bisque recipe has chunks of sweet lobster meat in a beautifully seasoned broth made from the strained liquid of sautéed lobster shells, vegetables and herbs. Cream and sherry are added and the flavors are incredible.

Appetizer [item2=Mini Crab Cakes] Delicious ginger and coriander-tinged crab cakes, full of meaty crab chunks and with beautiful fresh flavors

Salad [item2=Summer Crab Salad] Dig into a plate of this stunning tomato and crab salad tossed in a cool, light dressing.

Main Course [item2=Palm Leaf Wrapped Fish] [item2=Vegetable Tajine] You'll love this tender and wonderful-tasting baked fish. Slathered in a fragrant coconut sauce, the fillet is then wrapped in leaves. To accompany the fish, the slow, gentle cooking brings out the sweetness of golden root vegetables in this Vegetable Tajine.

Desert [item2=Citrus Flavored Ice] Citrus with a more clean and acidic nature is a perfect desert to end a fish meal.

I looked around the kitchen at all the items that were necessary to prepare the 5 course meal I was going to prepare. Then I looked over towards the bar. It was very tempting to go that way and forget about the food. BUT!! Frieda and Welly were depending on me. Why? As my poor dear departed mother would let me "Y is a crooked letter and cannot be made straight. She was obviously talking little and not capital." Back to why. No idea. I am not a chef not even a cook, but a challenge I cannot resist. So here I am, in the kitchen, surrounded by wonderful food and tantalizing herbs and spices. All awaiting me.

Why did I ever decide on such a lavish meal. I should have gone for canned tomato soup, cabana and cheese, supermarket coleslaw, frozen fish fingers with frozen fries and a drumstick ice cream for desert.

But I bit the bullet and now have to suffer the consequences.

For the bisque I started with fresh lobsters which was boiled until the shells began to turn red. The meat was removed from the shells and put aside. The shells were broken down, and put into the soup pot filled with sautéed carrots, celery and onion. Sherry and clam juice get poured over all and herbs like tarragon and thyme are added, too. Tomato paste is stirred in and a low and slow hour long simmer is needed to develop the flavors. The resulting lobster soup broth is strained and the lobster shells tossed. Rice is added and steamed for 30 minutes and then the entire mixture is blended in a food processor or blender until smooth. Cream is added and then the delicious, succulent lobster chunks go in.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hungry. I will have to finish this off later. Frozen pizza looks good to me.

Gene has already been scouting out the kitchen, fully intending to make full use of it. It's more than likely that he'll be found cooking midnight meals (there's always too much to it to call them snacks) and baking all sorts of goodies throughout this voyage. For right now, however, he's busy mentally preparing his own five course meal, though there are so many different definitions for what that entails and he's spent far too much time planning these sorts of things to not provide a certain number of options for those who may have dietary restrictions or preferences. In the end, however, he settles on a menu of

Slowly making our way from the laden banquet tables we entered a room with comfy chairs and small tables filled with cheese trays presented to help digest the feast and a coffee bar:

Sitting around drinking coffees, teas or hot chocolate as the mood struck us, we talked long into the night. Speculating on what the adventure might bring.

Floating in the water with the waves gently rocking me, I began to think about about what it would be like on the cruise ship with Frieda and the others planning that special menu for dinner. Soon, I was dreaming that I actually was there and ready to be served:

Falling asleep, Tinkerbabe dreams on while being gently rocked by the waves...

The anticipation was too much...Bohicon rushed to find the dining room and her friends.

Frieda claps her paws to get everybody's attention. "I am so glad that all of you decided to plan for and to participate on out little trip. But now, it's time for some serious eating! Weldon is the head chef on this trip and he and his staff have prepared a delicious feast for us tonight.

So, make your way into the main dining room and we will be allowed to partake of the buffet. The servers will assist you with your selections from the menu board." Frieda then remembered something, "We have a sommelier on staff who can help you with your wine, beer or spirit choices."

You approach the buffet and the hand lettered menu board at the head of the line tells you what is available tonight, but there's something wrong......
