I feel that the addition of some Gryffindor red to Professor Mathers' hair is the subtle hint of "not a granny" that she's looking for, and hopefully isn't bold enough to be one of the Professor's disliked shades. I've picked a lace edged top for a little added style without resorting to jewellery, and gone with a pinky theme which hopefully is also a little more youth-making (not that the Professor is old!). A touch of lipstick lifts the Professor's face, although I do wish the Professor would be more willing to changing her glasses (I have several pairs and change mine daily)....

Drew sighed. He hated challenges like this. He was a guy, not some girl who liked to play dress-up! And he felt odd about trying to tell a woman what to wear. Still the competitive part of him wouldn't allow him to pass up getting points for his house, so he dove into the wardrobe and at last settled on a look he thought worked.

With a looser bun, Professor Mathers looks younger while maintaining an air of sophistication. The lighter colors, while again not Drew's thing, seemed to help with the younger look as well and gave the outfit a flowing, summery look. Drew opted for a blouse with sheer sleeves and a classy tie, knowing that a total and sudden switch to something new wasn't the best idea. As he turned in his idea, the teen smiled thinking it was pretty good and made Professor Mathers seem more approachable and not as starched and stiff. Hopefully she would think so as well.
