for what it's worth, i have a 10k Str/1k def/24k Hp/0 spd pet. and have had no real issues. The main issue i run into (of course) is enemy crits, but if you have decent spd you shouldn't have to worry as much.

With enough health and enough intel, you will be fine 99% of the time.

Worse comes to worse you save up a lot of exp and re-balance via leeches.

From what I've been reading a 'high Str, high Spe' build is more suited to boss battles? Since they'll kill you eventually anyway there's not much need for Def or huge amounts of HP? I'm not sure how a 'Boss build' would fare against Buttwing past the 10wins, but like said I'd be trying to chain freeze him to death anyway
