WOW! This challenger really threw your teams for a bit of a loop. Each team had at least one veteran player, too, and it seemed the cryptogram would give it away, but it didn't work that way. I gave hints if you wrote to me, and I dressed up as Kaylee from Firefly, and finally, most of you got the idea that you would be visiting previous places in WS. One team even sent a list of all projected places, but it's not quite right. Still, that was the major gimmick.
All of you got the cryptogram, but a couple of teams didn't send it in, so we gave partials for the points you got. The not-so-secret bonus was my dressing as an "almost Kaylee from Firefly." Silly hint, but got a few of you extra points. In the end, scores broke down this way:
Steve=2250 (complained, lamented, flailed in despair, and got it all--within the same smail! :D )
Full scores but no bonus:
Fallen Angels=2000 Galactic Thylacines=2000 Leviathans=2000 Organized Chaos=2000 Traveler=2000
Little bit lost, but did get part of it:
Jalapenos=1250 Reaver=1000
And totally "lost in space": Squirrel Tales=0 (no submission)
