I got my friend, Abby, to sign up to play tonight. She's not been around this evening, but if she starts to play a bit, I'll introduce you all to her. You'll love her and she'll fit right in if she decides to hang out with us. :)

Well i have some news to share..

I have been struggling with my weight for years, up and down... I tried it all, gym/lose weight program, herbalife, shakes, dietician. You name it i tried it, i helped in the short term but not the long one. Last year after easter i was so fed up with it all i needed help. I made an appoinment at the doctors and ask for help. He referred me to a special hospital who deals with obesity.

Long story short i got the ok yesterday and they are going to help me. Next month intake surgeon, bloodworks and talk what kind of operation i get. In september i have a meeting in the hospital with more info and see my fellow people in my trail. And before the end of the year (i think) the surgery.

are you talking gastric bypass or the sleeve? That's wonderful news that they will help you.My family doctor wants me to have it done.I think I'm going to do the sleeve if I do. Happy Subeta Anniversary

i am not sure yet. I think for me a mini GB. But that's up the the doc and i am seeing her next month.

Oh ok,I was just wondering.I never new there was a mini GB,Thank You for letting me know.I'll probably do the standard GB.I went to a meeting but haven't pursued it any feather. Hugs ;D

i am not sure they do the mini GB where you live. Here in Holland they do. It is a ong and hard raod to follow but if you are reallly committed it goes smooth. I had a set back in october as they thought i was not ready yet. Had to go back to my dietician.and work on my mental health. And i now finally had the ok.

August 13 intake intake surgeon, bloodworks and talk what kind of operation i get. September 6 meeting 2 mandatory and then within a few months the surgery. I hope/think somewhere in oktober/november

good luck! My friend just did the gastric sleeve surgery. It has been a rough recovery but she's already lost a good bit of weight.

My experience (through friends) with this is that the GB changes what your body can process and deal with as far as food goes. And the sleeve sometimes has its own complications and in some cases, doesn't help, either... the sure way is GB, but you still have to be careful what you eat and you may feel like you're still dieting with GB, but at least the dieting works well. Unless you're like my guy friend that had it done, and well, he eats some of what he's not supposed to, and gets sick, but doesnt gain weight really. My friend that had the band, gained all her weight back, but she doesn't try to keep any weight off, either.

, I'm glad you are doing with is best for you, physically. Through social media I thought you were doing really well and you don't seem to be that overweight. But I know that what matters is how you feel and I hope you feel like the best you, that you can be when it's all said and done. <3

, I wish you well. Sounds like you've got a good start. I pray it goes very well and you don't find it too difficult a recovery or the changes in the way you need to eat afterwards. I think you're a strong person and you'll persevere and will have an encouraging success story for others who are thinking about it.

thanks girls. I am already busy and doing how and what to eat, i have been visiting a dietician for more then 1 year. And clothes can hide stuff big time. I am 40 kilo's over weight and so need help and i am glad i am getting it. But first lets wait and see what kind of surgery i get

Good luck with getting the GB. I've had a friend get it and it worked great for him. Also had a friend get the sleeve and has helped her lose lots of weight and keep it off. But like they said it's different for everyone. I hope you have a quick recovery when you get it and everything goes well.

Hi Everyone,

Getting the carpets cleaned today. Staying out of the way and by an open window. Hate smelling the chemicals. Bruce left to do some errands and get a few groceries. Hope he can stay busy until they get done. It's not good for his lungs and allergies. Glad we have a beautiful day so the windows can be open and it will dry quickly. Rained all day yesterday and that would have been a very bad day for this job. Have a great day friends! 😄

Just 4 more days of work until vacation. Can't wait!
