"I know I don't have to get you something," Niamh replied to Blade, "but I want to get you something. I mean I doubt I could afford some of the stuff in there, but there must be something decent in there which might catch your eye." Niamh was determined, but it sounded like Blade might be equally determined to not have anything bought for him, so she took the opportunity to munch her way through her ice cream while she waited for his reply. "Did you have a good time diving, Toru?" she asked as she suddenly realised they were sat at the table, and didn't want them to think she was ignoring anyone.

Paddy grinned at Magnus, "I never really understood the appeal of swimming before," she admitted, "but I think I can see the reason it's so popular now especially with all those critters we spotted. Is there anything in particular you're hoping they'll have for sale in the shop?"

Zoe nodded to Millie. Then Millie suggested they look at jewellery. “Alright,” she said with a shy smile. She highly doubted she could afford much if anything there, but there was no harm looking.

“Oh er, I got some chips, sandwich and fruit from the buffet over there,” Magnus said to Kiara pointing to the table. “They’ve got a lot of foods, plenty of variety. All that’s free for us to. I think the menus are from the restaurant and we’d’ve to pay. I’m gonna get an ice cream after I’ve looked in the shop.”

Blade gave Toru a nod. Magnus smiled. “No problem,” Magnus said. “I ad such a good time down there. But I’m also looking forward to exploring the shop. I wonder what they ave in there.”

Zoe smiled at Callista. She was looking at some pretty jewellery. The bracelet that the Slytherin said she liked was in Zoe’s hand. “Aye, tis pretty for sure,” she said nodding. “They have lots of nice things here. I saw hair combs too with pearls on them.” She put the bracelet back on the shelf. It was pretty and out of her price range. “Did ye find some nice things to buy then?” she asked.

Blade blushed slightly when Niamh said she wanted to buy him something. In truth, he’d never been given anything from anyone other than his parents. “Definitely don’t go broke for me,” he said softly. “But if you are determined and all…I’m sure you’ll find something.” He felt like he had to be twelve shades redder now but he couldn’t help but also be really excited about his first ever gift—not that he’d want to admit to anyone that he’d never had a present before.

“Glad you liked it. There’s a lot of lovely life in the sea,” Magnus said. “I dunno, guess I’ll at least get a stuffed animal for me baby brother, and something pretty for Mum. Maybe a good book or plant for Dad.”

Jona took the medicine from Zoe out of courtesy but didn't feel like he needed it. While Millie and Zoe browsed, he snuck away to find a toilet Suddenly it seemed like everyone was in the shop. Jona wandered back after getting a little lost looking for the washroom. Or maybe he wasn't post but just where he needed to be - in the candy aisle!

"Perfect!" He said to no one in particular. He started pouring his favorite muggle candies into bulk bins to share with everyone. He grabbed two chocolate bars in particular as gifts. A bag of hard starfish candies for someone else. "Aaaaaand ah-ha!" One last thing and Jona began juggling all his sweet treats as he made his way to the counter to pay. He may have bumped into a few students here or there as well.

Millie found a bracelet and hair comb she really liked. She noticed Zoe () looking at a pretty bracelet then put it back. Suddenly, she had an idea. While Zoe was talking to Callista (), she slipped behind the two and added the bracelet to her pile. Once she was ready to ring up, she asked for a piece of parchment and a quill from the shop keeper. On it, she wrote,

"Dear Zoe, thank you for all the hard work you do as Head Girl. Your efforts do not go unnoticed and you will be missed when you finish Hogwarts. Please accept this gift as a token of our appreciation and our well wishes for the future. - Your friends at Hogwarts".

When Jona () was returning from the toilet, Millie grabbed his arm and whispered, "distract Zoe for a few minutes. I need to slip this in her bag. I don't want to embarrass her". She gave him a wink and waited for her chance

(ahhaha you were my surprise gift giver in the exchange thanks for the ghosties!!) "Oh!" Kiara said, dropping the menu and hopping down from her seat, "I'm gonna go get the free food then!" She went over to the buffet and grabbed a bowl of melon, a plate of pasta salad, and a giant frosted cookie. She came back to seat and set all her things down, then remembered that she needed a drink and ran back for some water. Then she sat back down. "What are you gonna eat?" she asked Toru. Then: "How's your sandwich?" she asked Magus through a mouthful of pasta.

Zoe hadn’t noticed Jona wandered off through the shop but she was busy look at pretty things. She had no idea Millie bought the bracelet for her either.

Magnus chuckled at Kiara’s change. Free was better! “No problem we ain’t going anywhere,” he said dipping some chips into ketchup before eating them. “Nice weather today,” he said to no one in particular. “It’s good.”

Blade was finished with his salad now and started on his gyro. When he finished he stood up and stretched, unaware that others might be looking. “Gonna go check the store out now.” He knew Niamh would come but unsure if the others were ready or not yet.

"Aye aye, cap'n!" Jona saluted Millie and went to work on distracting Zoe. "So, uh..." he raised his arm, struggling to hold all the sweets. "What's your favorite candy?"

Zoe giggled at Jona's large bag of sweets. "Are ye eating them all?" she asked. "Mine? I like Mars bars, Kit Kat, ice mice, Fizzing Whizzbees, acid pops the most. Did ye see the betta fishtanks? Would ye like one? Little five gallon tank with heater and filter... we could spell it so it doesn't weigh anything."

Millie smiled at Jona () and snuck up behind Zoe () and very carefullly slipped the bracelet and note into her bag while holding her breath. She nodded a ‘thank you’ to Jona while Zoe was discussing her favorite candies.

She took a few steps back, so it didn’t seem suspicious. “Beta fish are so pretty. I’ve always wanted one but Cleo would probably try eating it. She’s kind of a jerk like that”.

She looked around the shop and saw snow globes of different sizes. “Oh. I can’t believe I missed those. Emmett loves snow globes”. She walked over and looked at her options before choosing a medium sized one. She also picked up a large package of chocolates shaped like various shells. “I’m not a very good girlfriend. I almost forgot to get him something”.

Toru blinked a little when Kiara asked them a question. "O-Oh... I got s-sushi and some takoyaki..." They said showing her their plate. There were little rice and fish combinations wrapped in seaweed and a few triangular pyramids of rice with a bit of seaweed along the bottom, there were also little brown balls drizzled with some kind of brown sauce all on a stick. "D-Do you wanna t-try one?" Toru was always excited to share their country's food, perhaps that was the Hufflepuff in them.

"Wellllll," jona began in response to Zoe. "I probs could eat them all. But that wouldn't be very Hufflepuff. Or would it?" He dazed for a moment then shook his head and with it the thought. "Nah, I'm getting these to share with everyone. Especially after how I've been, ya know, today." He pouted a bit and looked at Zoe with his most mild level of puppy eyes. Then he laughed and said, "My uncles forbid me from getting anymore animals. I've got TC, Duncan, Clark, and Jenavive - the bird you gave me for my birthday. Uncles put their foot down hard on this one." He shrugged, feeling it wasn't really that bad since he first started getting the animals to create friends and now he was starting to make some of his own. From behind the snowglobe shelf, Sauvage looked up and heard Millie. "'ello Meellie." She waved delicately. She had spent the last couple hours while everyone was diving looking through the shop, trying to find souvenirs for her parents and her - she blushed at the thought - boyfriend. "Deed you just find somesing for Emmett? Zat was so fast!"

Millie smiled when she heard Sauvage ( ). "Hey Sauvage ! I was wondering where you were. I almost forgot to get him something" she said with a laugh. "I got him a snow globe and this huge box of chocolates shaped like shells. He loves chocolate and he collects snow globes. Honestly, seeing the snow globes is what reminded me.

" I thought about buying something for my parents but I don't see anything they would really want. My mum eats enough sweets from her bakery and she doesn't really wear jewelry often. And my dad travels so much for work, he pretty much has everything. They would appreciate anything but I don't want to buy them something just to buy them something.

"Did you find something for your parents? Are you going to get Fade something?"

After she mentioned she couldn't think what to get her parents, she had an idea. "Oh. I think I'll look at the home decor section. Mum does like home decor. Did you want to come with me?" she asked Sauvage.

“Aye, they are,” Zoe said. “I like fish. So pretty.” She shook her head. “Ye didn’t though and he’ll love ya thought of him.”

Magnus said, “I tried some sushi in Japan. I didn’t like it. But me girlfriend did make some Japanese pancake thingies and some other good food. I loved a lot of the desserts.”

“I think that’s a really good idea. Ye’re sweet, Jona.” Zoe smiled. It was sweet of him. She frowned when Jona said he couldn’t have more pets. “Oh,” Zoe said. “Okay then. I’ll buy ye a picture of the beach then. And we can go look for shells to take home too. Yeah?” She gave up on the bracelets since they were too expensive and decided to opt for a nice framed picture of the beach and one for Jona too, a cute little tanktop, two mugs for her parents and one of the betta tanks with a pretty betta along with food, dechlorinater and a net. She was pleased to see the Sponge Bob themed tank and gigged as she hummed the theme song. The clerk thought the tank would break with water in it and suggested she wait till she got home. But the girl smiled and when the clerk wasn’t looking spelled it weightless. “It’s nee a problem, I’m sure it’ll be fine. If ye can put water in it and watch my fishy, I’ll pick him up before we leave.”

“Alright I’ll float him and put him in the tank for you,” the clerk said.

Blade entered the shop and started looking around.

Millie looked around and still couldn't find anything for her dad. She knew he would understand. She went back to the counter and paid for the rest of her items. She asked if she could leave them there for the time being and the clerk told her it would be no problem. She thanked him and asked Zoe () "are we ready to get something to eat?"

(sorry so short) Zoe nodded "Aye, let's get food. Jona, ye hungry too? We're gonna eat." Zoe smiled and headed out with Millie to get food from the buffet.

"Hello Elizabeth ()," Parker smiled nervously. "I'm happy to be here, and thanks, yours is so beautiful." She tried to speak calmly but was a bit awestruck by her rather patrician Head Girl. Elizabeth seemed very grown up and elegant compared to the kinds of people that Parker was used to. She hoped she would be as poised and polished when she became an upperclassman.

The buffet was tempting, so Parker took food while she spoke to Elizabeth. An açaí bowl topped with berries, coconut, banana, and granola; a dozen oysters on the half shell; some watermelon chunks; and a large glass of water with lemon. She noticed a dark-haired boy (), a Prefect maybe, looking their way. Ophelia flew in lazy circles overhead. A beach outing was nice for her but even nicer for her pet seagull.

Niamh followed Blade to the store, wondering what kind of souvenirs they might have for sale. As they entered, a shelf of miniature tanks caught her eye. "That looks like a smaller version of what Magnus showed us," she said, feeling that she was stating the obvious, but wanting to see what Blade expressed an interest in. After all, it wasn't much use offering to buy him something if he didn't like it.

Paddy finished eating and looked around at the others, "anyone up for checking out the shop?"

As Zoe headed for lunch she smiled at Mallowsweet. "Oh building a sandcastle might be fun. I'm gonna eat first and then decide. Ye hungry?"

Blade hadn't seen the fish tanks yet so when Niamh mentioned them he was over in a flash. He was in love immediately. He even saw some saltwater set ups. They had make your own reef kits, where you picked what you wanted and stocked the tank with water that was already ready to go. He could see some little crabs on the bottom of the tank, some sea anemones and fish... it would be wonderful. All they'd have to do was spell it so it was lightweight and add a spell to make the filter, heater and lights run without electricity. Both should be easy. He wasn't sure how much it would cost though since he didn't know muggle currency. The set up he liked looked like this:

"They are beautiful," Blade said. "I can pay you some if its too pricey. I have galleons just no muggle money."

Magnus nearly jumped off his seat. "Yes, let's go shop!" he said happily.
