Slytherin - how do I begin to explain Slytherin? Ambition is a synonym for Slytherin. Our house is full of winners. We value tradition and etiquette, are polite and enjoy the company of like-minded people. We have the prettiest and most sophisticated colours. Slytherin house makes great leaders and even greater minds. We're not cowards - we're brave as well, but we know when to stay out of trouble. Slytherins are not necessarily evil, but having people think we are is an advantage as they will not even try to get in our way. c; Medieval Merlin himself was a Slytherin and my family is actually linked to our founder.

Being the first centaur to pick up a wand and openly learn to use magic doesn't make me feel courageous, despite what the sorting hat seems to think.
It terrifies me.
In my first term I made a lot of silly mistakes because everything was so new and strange to me, but I'm not going to give up. Not quitting, and going ahead when you are scared to, is kind of brave. I guess that is what makes me a part of House Gryffindor. Mallowsweet, GryffindorOutfit Not Found

In my second term here, I feel truly that I belong to Ravenclaw. Wisdom often goes hand in hand with miracles and wonders and the thin veil between them sometimes shifts a bit when we open our minds. Candles light us the way yet we have to find out how to ignite them. I feel sheltered doing so under the protecting wings of the golden eagle and the wise eyes of ravens.

Private Outfit Hufflepuff is the perfect house for me because I value loyalty, hard work, kindness, and dedication above all else. My life motto is, "It is nice to be a important but it's important to be nice." I try to treat everyone with kindness and dignity. Curling up near the fire with a good book and freshly baked cookies in the common room and enjoying a meal in the Great Hall with friends are the times I feel the happiest and most content.

In an effort to fit in more, Dory has ditched the glasses (even if they were more comfy) and grew out her hair. Here she is in her best birdlike outfit ready to be friends with everyone! When I think of Ravenclaw I think of striving to be the best at everything and sometimes that gets in the way of friendships but the ones you have are forever.

I have been accused of being prejudiced, but I believe Slytherin is the best and also most well-rounded house at Hogwarts. To be Slytherin is to be ambitious and cunning; that much everyone knows, but Slytherins also are loyal and determined. Slytherin House embodies all the traits of the other houses. Our cleverness and cunning shows that we have the intelligence of Ravenclaw. And the intelligence also comes in handy with figuring out ways into and out of things that might be slightly frowned on. We also need bravery and courage, much like Gryffindor, in order to accomplish some of our plans. Being Slytherin is not for the weak or faint-hearted. Our Hufflepuff side shows through our loyalty to our housemates, and really to our friends in general, regardless of what house they might be. Therefore I think Slytherin is the house that truly exemplifies Hogwarts best.

Even though I feel that Slytherin is the best, I was nervous about possibly not being sorted into the house I have always favored. But the Sorting Hat agreed with what I’d always thought and I was placed in Slytherin. I felt shy at first, but now I feel at home in Slytherin and there is no place I’d rather be. I might have friends in other houses but nothing will replace the thrill I feel as I walk into our common room and smell the slightly musty odor of the dungeons I call home. The dim lighting is perfect for me since I love the night. I’ve always been a person who had high expectations for myself and others and I have grand plans for my life so my ambitious side fits in well with my house. Being a prefect has only made me feel more ambitious…and a bit stressed…but my loyalty to my house, mixed with my determination to succeed will help me become a good leader, I hope. I think Slytherin is the perfect fit for me.
