1. What did you enjoy doing most on term break? Visiting family and old friends. I also enjoyed spending time out in nature, especially seeing hummingbirds again.

2. Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it? I got a pet ruby throated hummingbird while I was on holiday, his name is Sparks. I couldn't resist bringing him home with me!

3. If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be? Learn as much about the world as you can, and stay informed. Don't be blind to the world of muggles just becuase you are not a part of it, muggles can teach us some very valuable lessons.

4. If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? I would probably spend more time reading or drawing.

5. What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations? While I have high expectations for myself, I prefer to have low ones for most other things. That way, I'm not so disappointed when things go wrong, and I'm pleasantly surprised when they go well.

6. You’re walking down the the streets of Hogsmeade and find a pouch with 40 galleons inside. What do you do with it? I would try to find the owner, that's quite a lot of money that someone could really be missing!

7. Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth? I'd prefer to always have to tell the truth. I might go mad if I could never express myself accurately!

8. In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in? At a large party with lots of people I don't know... Or, scratch that, just a large party in general.

9. What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone? I either think about the future and daydream about the things I am looking forward to, or I worry about all the things that could go wrong. It's probably more often that second one, though, I worry excessively.

10. Who or what gives you the courage to try new things? Probably my friends Rain and River, they are so adventurous and outgoing!

1. What did you enjoy doing most on term break? Practicing Quidditch at magical fairs that we found on our travels!

2. Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it? A Muggle device called a Kindle - now my book bag is half as heavy since all my Muggle books are stored on it.

3. If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be? The world belongs to Muggles and wizards alike - and not to one more than the other.

4. If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? Read!

5. What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations? High expectations - even if you fall short, at least you pushed yourself to try hard and probably achieved more than if you had low expectations (even if it's not quite what you were hoping).

6. You’re walking down the the streets of Hogsmeade and find a pouch with 40 galleons inside. What do you do with it? Bring it to the Three Broomsticks - no doubt someone is missing it and that would be where I'd check.

7. Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth? Never express myself accurately - would be a challenge to find ways to properly communicate!

8. In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in? Giving a keynote address in front of hundreds of people.

9. What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone? New ways to tie bows.

My mother - she took a huge chance to try a new thing by marrying my father and being introduced to the magic world - so any time I'm nervous or unsure, I just think of how she must have felt and that she had the courage to forge ahead anyway.

1. What did you enjoy doing most on term break? I enjoyed getting to spend time with my family of course, but what I really enjoyed doing was traveling around looking for old Irish ghosts. I am writing a book about the Ireland of the past and the ghosts that still are around today.

2. Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it? I bought myself a new backpack and writing stuff. Nothing really exciting I guess.

3. If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be? Don’t underestimate Muggles. They are smarter than some wizards think.

4. If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? Write. I have found a great passion for writing and getting my thoughts on paper.
