I hired someone to repair the floor upstairs - but the rest is al things we are doing on our own. By we... I mean mostly my husband. I am painting EVERYTHING. We were going to wait, but the entire house is orange - and not a pretty orange ... just in time for Halloween I guess lol

I get it. I try to everything I can since finances are tight. With my partner being out of a job for over 5 months last year, I had to put painting on hold for the most part. I had wanted it all painted before now but the pandemic had other plans lol

Just do what you can. It will all work out in the end. Orange is so festive for fall though ;) :P

How goes it everyone? I hope everyone had fun over Halloween (while staying safe) and enjoyed pleanty of treats. I haven't been around much as rl is being, well, rl. But I do have an important question for everyone:

You know me, I'll always sign up. It is one of my favorite events we run here.

I am only afraid we have a smaller group this year that I don't know if we will have enough? I could be wrong though. I noticed this when I opened a Morostide post and pinged everyone but only had one response. I could have kept pinging but I didn't want to swamp everyone.I know everyone is busy, pings can be missed because of so many, but I've noticed participation has really changed since our original days if that makes any sense. I hope we all can do this event :) We need some fun times around here with all the craziness going on in real life.

I use a different system to pairing so no matter how many people we have we can run it. I love the circular method. :) But I'm happy to invite the Happy Daisy Fairies so we have more people having fun. Do they run their own though?

Makes sense :) I honestly don't know if the Faeries have one; I just joined them this year. - Does the Happy Daisy Fairies run a Secret Santa for Christmas? I'm not sure.

count me in!! I use a name pairing software that uses the circular method so that even odd numbers can still be matched which is awesome. :) :)

We don't usually do a secret santa in Daisies since a lot are around, but I'm totally fine with inviting those who may want in if you guys would like to broaden it! I bet some of them would love to jump in. We usually have a giveaway and encourage participation in the Empty Trees program to get us all in the spirit of giving and sharing, but one can never have too many Santas. ;) <3

It's really helped out and means if anyone else joins late I can still add them in. :)

I'd love for the Daisies to come join us and I'm happy to help with the Empty Trees.

Would anyone like to join in the Chatterbox Secret Santa? The rules are simple:

• Have a your Secret Santa list ready by November 29th.
• Try and keep the items on it below 2 million sp per item. Be sure to include a range of prices so there's something for everyone's wallet. :)
• Cash Shop items can be included as long as they're no more than 2 million sp in the users shops.
• If you want to give something priced higher than 2 million, feel free! The limit is to help everyone join in no matter how much time they have to play. :)
• Generally we try and limited it to 25 items on the list but if you want to add more please do so.
• I'll send the names out on November 30th all being well.
• You can send gifts all throughout December, not just on the big day. If you want to gift something at the start or just before New Year please do. If you want to save it all for the Day that's fine too. :)
• If you want to join in, please let me know by November 25th.

It might seem a bit odd to have rules but we've run this a few times now and these just help keep things running smoothly. I hope everyone is staying safe.

That's a fair question. You should have a list of 25 items which come in below 2 million at a range of prices. But if your Secret Santa wants to raid your wishlists they can. The Secret Santa wishlist is there do that if you don't get much play time (because rl) you can still gift your Secret Santa something nice. :) Welcome to the event.
