I want to thank you for your templates. I used the first one you posted. It took me forever to figure out how to edit it to my liking, as I have no experience with CSS whatsoever. I was especially proud of myself for figuring out how to get that gif in the contents. i guessed and it worked lol. Hiya! I'm having an issue with the Tabbed template. I like it quite a lot, but the template doesn't seem to account for pet names that include both a first and last name, which results in this:
Any idea how I'd go about fixing this? I took a quick peek at the code, but my understanding of CSS is very minimal, so I couldn't really figure out how to actually go about fixing this myself.
EDIT: Figured it out, but for anyone else who's having this problem, here's what you need to edit:
Hey there! So sorry about the late reply; last week was not my week and I wasn't on Subeta a lot.
So yeah, to make the Morse code font smaller, what I would do is add to the beginning of each line of Morse code (and of course add a font closing tag to the end of the Morse!), and then go to the CSS and add: .morse{font-size: 11px} or whatever your desired font size is! If you add the font HTML class of morse to every line of Morse code, that should make it so you can easily edit the font size for all the Morse code on your profile.
So... I am really not the best to ask technical questions, unfortunately; I'm extremely self-taught when it comes to this stuff. xD Looking at it, I believe that the reason for why the text is cut off when aligned to the left is because it looks like the credits for this profile come after the closing tag for the main 'txt' div, which is what aligns the main profile text? (The way I coded this is kind of funky; I should have probably aligned the text with the default 'pet_desc' element that is on all Subeta pet profiles rather than making my own new div for some reason.) Anyway, if you remove that div closing tag, it should work fine!

CSS is tricky to start learning, but it's really rewarding to be able to customize your pet profiles how you'd like. : D I look forward to seeing more of your pets!

Ahh yeah sorry about that, I tend to stick to pets with short names myself so I never really think about that. I'm glad you figured things out and thank you for posting about it! I'll make an edit of my original post about the issue and include your image in the notes about that profile template, if that's okay?
Thanks! i changed the font size. Now they just look like decorative breaks until you get to the end and the credits point out the Morse code translator. :) That was a fun experiment. I'm calling it done now.
I've also tried doing some coding for Gothique myself. We'll see how that goes. And I'll ask you for help if I get really stuck. I might need help removing the scroll bar eventually, but I'm working on getting everything else in the right place for now.
Heh. I kind of wonder if my stories are too dark to make pet spotlight, but whatever.
Hey, I was wondering if you could help me with something. I'm working on Madness's profile and I want the pet spotlight nomination right above the pet color & owner info. I've moved those where I want them, but I'm having a lot of trouble with the pet spotlight nomination. Thanks!

Lol, I would hope not... I feel like we've had some pretty dark spotlight winners in the past. xD
Hi! So snooping through your code, it looks like for some reason the spotlight code is messed up? It has the pet_info:target thing repeated twice. I would fix that, then change the margin values for the pet spotlight positioning to be something like margin-top: 0px and margin-left... actually looks good as it is, I think?

(And, ah, it might just be that it's too early in the morning, but I'm not sure what you mean by "share a use"? ^^).
Just meant if you wanted to ever share the code, but I know most people like to keep their unique coding!
Oh, duh! Well, there isn't too much of it that is actually unique, since it's mostly just Lea's base profile. The only big thing is to make sure you get the positioning of the image correct.
But if you're interested, you can take a look at the code. Don't know how helpful it is because it's specific to this image, but you're free to use any of the code to figure out how to do something similar. Just make sure to credit !
Look for and which is the new things and has the ability to show on hover. The other things that were changed are different positioning values.
