Hello folks,

I would like to apologize for how quiet it's been in the group these past few months. We've been working on finding new admins as well as some other internal matters. I have some good news to share with all of you.

First of all, I'd like to announce our latest additions to the admin team. and are joining as Head Girls this upcoming term. and I are excited to be working along with them and can't wait to see what amazing things they'll accomplish on our team.

The Eighth Term will start on June 16th and end on September 15th. While we wait for the Eighth Term to begin, we would love to hear some feedback from you. We've only gotten a few responses from our survey, so if you haven't gotten to complete it yet or would like to give some more feedback, then please fill out this form.

In the meantime, it is the perfect time to work on your character(s). Remember you cannot participate in any roleplays if your character isn't included in the Student Roster and you only have until the end of the break to register for a special ability.

We'll be announcing Prefects closer to the start of term.

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments about next term or Wizarding in general, please do not hesitate to sMail me.

Unfortunately, I decided to forgo applications this term. Applications will probably be used in the future since they're a great way to see who is interested in a leadership position in the group (whether that be prefect or HB/HG) as well as a great way to see what each user would bring to their house in their desired role. c:

Hi all! :) I have some announcements to share with all of you before the start of term.

Second, I'd like to announce our new roleplay admins: and . If you have any questions or concerns related to the Roleplay Rules, workshops, issues within roleplay, please don't hesitate to reach out to them.

Third, I wanted to address our Member Taught Classes. Unfortunately, hasn't had time to send me any of the MTCs. If you have sent her an MTC in the past and it has yet to be used, then please send them to me. Due to how long it's taken us to use any MTCs, I'm allowing anyone to turn in up to two MTCs. However, you cannot turn in a third MTC until both lessons are used.

Lastly, I have some friendly reminders for you all. Please take a moment to review our Group Rules, Roleplay Rules, and Classroom Rules before the start of term. If you'd like your character to have a special ability during the Eighth Term, then you must register it before June 16. If you have registered for a special ability before, and it has been approved, then you don't need to reregister this term unless it has any new changes. If you have yet to add your character to the Student Roster and plan to roleplay this term, then you must fill out a Student Roster form BEFORE posting in any of the roleplay threads in the Clubs & Roleplay Forum or in your own house's forums.

Please check out our Graphics Contest. The deadline to submit a graphic is Saturday, June 30 at 11:59pm.

I've decided to extend the deadline for special abilities since I forgot 😅 to close the thread when the term started. You'll have until Saturday, June 30 at 11:59 pm to submit a registration form.

If you have submitted a Member Taught Class in the past and it has yet to be used, please send it to me as soon as possible. You'll have a higher chance of seeing your MTC this term, the earlier you submit it. You can find a list of the MTCs we have here. 's MTC (our only unused MTC atm) will be posted next week!

Some of you may have noticed we have two new threads in our Clubs & Roleplay Forum. has kindly shared with us a quick list of all the known potions and a quick list of all the known spells in the Wizarding World.

If you have yet to do so, please review our Group Rules, Roleplay Rules, and Classroom Rules. Remember you are not allowed to join a roleplay (outside of challenges and lessons) if your character is not on the current student roster.

Lastly, I wanted to thank everyone that participated in the feedback survey. We have made some changes this term in regards to your responses. I'm hoping this term is our best one yet. :)

Due to inclement weather, we are going to extend the term by one week, now ending on September 22nd. If you haven't had a chance to finish your assignments do so now. ((Only lessons, not challenges.)) Anyone in the path of this weather please stay safe. We love you all <3

I hope everyone has been enjoying their winter festivities! I’m sure there are a few of you wondering why the break is longer than usual. Unfortunately, I have to be the bearer of bad news: and are stepping down from the position of Head Girls. and I were very lucky to have them as part of our team and appreciate everything they've done for Wizarding.

We do have some good news though. may be stepping down as Head Girl, but she will be stepping up as Roleplay Admin.

In addition to the open positions for Head Girl/Boy, there are also positions open to those interested in joining Raven in overseeing roleplay as Roleplay Admins. We are hesitant to announce a new term until we can fill these positions.

Hi folks, I know it’s been awhile, we’ve been quiet for quite some time. I never meant for such a long break between terms, but I have also been hesitant to start a new term due to how last term was rather inactive in addition to a shrinking admin team. However, a few of you have expressed interest in participating in a new term and I also find myself longing to return to the halls of Hogwarts in my day-to-day.

and I want to get back in the game with a mini-term to get the ball rolling and what better way than with a summer Quidditch tournament! :) This mini-term, like the Tri-Wizard Tournament, will be simpler than regular terms. This means less lessons and activities than regular terms and instead of having everyone split up according to their Hogwarts house, you will be able to work alongside members of a house different from your own. The Quidditch tournament will be styled like an invitational national tournament, so we would like members to recommend which countries they would like to participate. We will give more details as we receive your feedback, so hopefully the term can start sometime this month!

Third, I’d like to share some more details about our newest term. The Ninth Term will tentatively start on July 29th and end on September 6th. The Summer Quidditch Tournament will take place at Hogwarts. The countries participating in the Summer Quidditch Cup will be India, Japan, Russia, and Greece*. The Summer Quidditch Tournament will run similar to our Triwizard Tournaments. Members will participate in challenges, activities, and tournament lessons as students to earn points for their team. The Quidditch team is composed of non-playable adult players. Members will be playing as student supporters (or fans) of the team. Members can play as Hogwarts students or students from any other international school in the Wizarding world. Please keep our rules from the Roleplay Rules in mind while creating your character. Members will be earning points for the Quidditch team they’re supporting (either India, Russia or Japan) to win the Summer Quidditch Cup instead of earning points towards a Wizarding school or Hogwarts’ House! Members can sign up for a team here! The Summer Quidditch Cup Fan Roster can be found ">here!

* Depending on the number of participants, members will be divided between three or four teams. At the current moment, members cannot earn points for the Greek National Quidditch team as it is currently non-playable.

I need to fix the regular Student Roster since it's a hot mess right now. If you have a character in the student roster and would like to roleplay them during the Quidditch Tournament all you need to do is post on the Fan Roster thread that you'd like to add them to the thread.

Be on the lookout this Wednesday for the Ninth Term winners announcement and prizes! 😊

With every step he took towards the main festivity tent, he found himself reminiscing every step he took towards realizing his dream: the moment the spark lit up in his mind’s eye as he saw brooms zoom over him at his first Quidditch match; the many endless nights he spent reworking, perfecting... He smiled as he passed by his colleagues, those who he couldn’t have come so far without. The Radiance Cup was no longer just his dream, it was theirs too. Surfacing from his recollections, he found himself at the center of the stage, the crowd before him growing silent as he placed his wand to his throat.

“At the beginning of this summer, we invited four world-renowned teams to share a summer of Quidditch. Greece! India! Japan! Russia!” With every name, each national team appeared from behind the tent flaps to stand in front of the stage. The applause and cheering was almost deafening, but somehow Winston was able to reign the crowd in.

“Match after match, we cheered with every point scored, groaned at missed opportunities, watched with bated breath as players dodged Bludgers, and counted down the seconds till the Golden Snitch was caught. Each team showed us what makes them Quidditch elite, from Russia’s masterful control, Japan’s technical finesse, India’s unyielding power, and Greece’s steady plays. But sadly, this trophy and the title of Champion of the first Summer Radiance Cup can only go to one…”

He moved his wand away for a moment, swiftly whisking the trophy away from the nearby podium and into his hands. Returning his wand to its original position, he cleared his throat.

“Please join me up here, India!” The crowd filled with applause, cheers, chants, and even song as the Indian national team came onto the stage. Shaking each player’s hand as they came on stage, he invited Coach Ranya Sharma to stand next to him, shaking her hand a second time before handing her the trophy.

“Before I go, I would like to thank all of you, the fans, for the incredible support all summer long. Without your support, we would not have been able to bring you this cup! I hope to see all of you at the next Quidditch Cup! Stay radiant!”

As he left the stage, he watched Coach Sharma hand the trophy to team captain Lakshmi Patel, who was immediately swarmed by her teammates and lifted high into the air as their excitement overflowed. The sight brought tears to his eyes, proud to be a part of the reason for the celebrations to come.
