Hi! I couldn't find an answer to this on Google, so I'm just gonna ask here: If you hover over an item, what's the difference between "price today" and "overall price"? Because I don't think I've ever seen them be different from one another, even if the price changed between days...

The "Price Today" line indicates the price of the item at it's most recent sale price out of user shops. "Overall Price" acts like an average that an item usually sells for over a number of days (don't know how many, though).

This was implemented years ago to deter people from falsely inflating a cheap, common item and selling it at ridiculous upcharges. If there's an outlandish difference in the Price Today and Overall Price, something is off about how that item has recently sold. Either it was severely deflated due to mispricing, or someone's trying to inflate the item.

complaining users have Suggested this one to death, so the "overall price" is pretty fucked as data goes. It used to be over a couple of months, then one month, and then about two weeks. It is almost completely informationless nowadays. It's hardly ever different from 'price today' and is no longer protective.

Edit: I have too many opinions about this.

I never did that game past Chase as a Battledome Challenger which was my goal and I didn't care about the sP win or loss to get him, so I never really thought of the game as "play". What did it do to the game, that made it unplayable?
