No that is what happens when YOU get old :p Myself and many others around me are the opposite.
Mostly it's what happens when you know you're supposed to be 'professional' for the career path you're working on and you've all been lectured a bunch about how it's going to be difficult on the clients if you have visible tattoos/unnatural hair colors/make different wardrobe choices please etc.
It's the biggest decider. I really want to dye it but I have to keep that in mind sadly. That's why I thought I might do it for summer and then go back to normal come fall.
Worn out. Went to my sister's first dress fitting after not enough sleep, then went to the Alfred Angelo bridal store to look at bridesmaid dresses because they marked them down again. Got 2 - one that has to be altered but that we like better and one that fits fine but we don't like quite as much - they're $29.99 and honestly I can't even go get a normal dress for that cheap.
