I don't think that there is a cap that would be "too many" pets... Currently I have 28 pets: 18 Lains, 1 Wanna-be-a-Lain, and 9 Fanpets. Not to mention 5 unfilled pet slots.

My dream pet at the moment is a Storm Lain. I have a Storm Potion and a Harvest Potion waiting for when those two species/color combos are released ☺

I don't know how some users keep up with so many pets (80+ in some cases!). Honestly I would probably forget their names at that point 😵

i got my 40th pet some days ago and i want more because what is self control |DD pet slots are my addiction okay

my dream pets which aren't really dream pets but more of a "pets i'm gonna get eventually once i figure out characters for them" are these sweet babs

I've got 28, and I think it's a bit too much for me personally. I think 4-6 is the ideal amount for me, but I can't seem to let go of any of my pet ideas! Like even though I have way too much on my plate, I can't bear to lose any of their characters. It's ridiculous, lol.

I currently have 19, but there are AT LEAST three more ideas that I have story-wise, and then maybe around ten that I really like the colours for.

I have 24 right now and I know that number is only going to keep growing. Right now, I think, when I get my next pet slot I'm going to make a Glacier Feli!

Good question haha. Debated whether or not to admit this lol, but I have 67 total slots. I have quite a few permie pets. Part of the reason I have so many is because I simply love having all the characters from my stories as separate pets. So, for instance, I have one nuclear family- so right there that's 5 pets. And then I have one story that has like.. 20 characters lol. And I have a lot of stories and ideas xD I would say about 1/3 are pets that don't really have a set plan because they're failed zappers from the pound that I liked too much to adopt out or repound. I always have a 'floating' slot for my zappers too. Cos I honestly love adopting plain pets and zapping them into fun colors! I have about 3 rn that are looking for homes. But I probably do have too many that I don't have plans for. Especially considering I have plans for other characters that aren't created yet with tc items in my vault and stuff but I have no idea for names. So for me, I have too many pets but not enough at the same time lol.

As for dream pets that I want? I plan on having one of each yaheera. (except maybe scribble.) I'm pretty close now! I still need sweetheart and nightmare/bloodred but I don't really care for the 2 darker poses so that means an overlay which I don't have time for, so backburner haha. I also LOVE pretty Glacier pets and have a soft spot for mahars, legacias, and Irions.

More pet slots than Neo was one of the biggest appeals of Subeta when I first joined, though at the time the max was ten with a Gold Account.

I'm at 37 full out of 38. It's just a mishmash accumulation of free slots, event slots, the occasional paid slot (always out of haste before a name clears, lmao), sP slots.. I've been on this site for over nine years, so it sort of accumulates.

I've got one of those slots open after I helped grab a name for my girlfriend. I'm not sure what I'll do with it, I'm sort of waiting for the inspiration to strike or for a name I want to open!

There's a lot of pets that I could feasibly see myself having, but it's more of a character-first-then-pet thing for me. I've got pets that I didn't ever really expect to permanently own, just because they fit a character I like!

lol, I am the same.. at the moment I keep one slot open cause you never know.. there could be a petname that I want so badly that I will need that slot ^^.. I hope for more slots as well.. needs more

I have 12 pets and its more than I can keep up with... not enough hours in the day...lol

I currently have 30/30, but I always tell myself "I'd like just ONE more..."

I've also had a lot of pets that wound up in the adoption center when my interests changed or if I couldn't think of a story that did them justice, so in real numbers, I think I've had at least 60-something pets on the site.

It's only too much if you think it's too much.

Tomorrow I will be adopting my 48th pet. He's a Steamwork Tigrean.

I don't even know what my 'dream pet' is anymore, lol. I do have a fondness for Glade though. Then after that, Nostalgic, Angelic, Sweetheart, and Steamwork. As far as species goes, I've always loved the Demi. It's like a foxicorn. And the Feli of course, because cats.

I keep thinking 'This is my last pet' and then another color comes out and I'm all 'I NEED THAT' and I adopt another one.

I have 20 and I'm thinking on stopping at this number or at 24 tops, because all of them are my children and I fear that if I have more I won't be able to share my love with everyone. ;v; I want them all to feel special. I also don't have a dream pet at the moment as I'm satisfied with the color scheme of my pets.
