i think we could yes! having this implemented directly insite would be a good thing regardless of the work around imo? thank you kindly!!
Added! Agreed, official fixes are always best because then everyone can find them easily. xD
New suggestion (maybe). I would be super happy if we could do account searches from the required items lists in the achievements page. As it is now we have shop search links and no item hovers so no direct account search option from that page.
That sounds really handy! Added. c:
Possibly a new one for the list, but no judgement if you don't feel like it belongs here.
Category: shop search Summary: add a small indicator next to a user's shop when the searched item is mentioned within the first post of an Advertising forum thread
We already have links to trades, Cash Shop, etc within the shop search when we search for an item available elsewhere, so it would be helpful to maybe have a small [A] next to the shop name if that user has mentioned the item in the first post of an Advertising forum thread. The [A] could link directly to the thread where the mention was made. The indicator could disappear within a few days of no updates/edits to the original post, or if the thread gets locked. The indicator would not activate from item mentions in any other forum, just Advertising (strictly within the first post).
I think it would help to stimulate some new activity within the Advertising forum. Sometimes it seems like it's the same handful of us stalking that forum.
Mm, I do think you should make your own thread for this one! I think it could be quite difficult to program (if it's possible at all), so it makes more sense for it to have its own thread.
You mean when people use the (item=) code to list items in their first post, right? I think it would also be cool if your idea worked for whole shops that are linked in advertising descriptions (as this is far more common and much easier to buy from). I'd support your idea either way if it could be done!
-- It's definitely the same handful of us. XD I love it when new people open up advertising threads with things I actually need.
Fair enough! Yes, that's exactly what I meant and having it work for whole shops would be fantastic.
I'm not sure how motivated I am to actually make a thread, but if you or anyone else wishes to take the idea and run with it, you're more than welcome to.
Sure, I can do that for you. c: How does this look? (I changed it a wee bit to add my part about shops.)
Add a small indicator under the item image or next to a user's shop when the searched item or a shop containing that item is mentioned within the first post of an Advertising forum thread.
Advertising forum threads typically have many items listed using the (item=) code or have links to their shops (both examples are shown in Moin's Advertising thread). Some users link to open trades in their threads (so they can be found via shops search) but these need to be recreated every 2 weeks and are hard to search through.
We already have links to trades, Cash Shop, etc. within the shop search when we search for an item available elsewhere, so it would be helpful to maybe have a small [A] next to the shop name if that user has mentioned the item in the first post of an Advertising forum thread or has it in an advertised shop. The [A] could link directly to the thread where the mention was made. The indicator could disappear within a few days of no updates/edits to the original post, or if the thread gets locked or moves to the second page. The indicator would not activate from item mentions in any other forum, just Advertising (strictly within the first post).
This would help stimulate some new activity within the Advertising forum. Sometimes it seems like it's the same handful of us stalking that forum.
Looks fine to me but you're free to change whatever you want! It doesn't have to use any of my wording if you can think of a better way of describing it. Maybe I'm just not very optimistic about the suggestion forum, but I don't think they'd like the example link to an advertising post (I'll leave it up to your judgement whether to leave it though - I don't spend a lot of time in Suggestions)
Oh, good point. I was just going to link random examples when I saw yours fitted but yeah, it does seem like I'm pushing your thread. I'll remove the link and trust people will understand. xD
For either Games or Quests: Add a link back to Bug Catching/Bird Watching in the pop up that appears at the top of the screen after clicking on the bug/bird that you need to find.
a few little ideas for Battle Coliseum:
Add Battle Quests into the top row of battle links (along with Challenge, Armory, Scrolls, etc) in the subeta.net/games/battle pages
Add the battle links row to the Healer's page
On the Challenge page, Weapon sets have the Default set at the top of the list. Scroll sets have them in creation order. Please pull the Default Scroll set to the top.
During battle, percentage-healer weapons only report the number, missing off the "%". If this isn't Deliberately Not Shown, please add this in. Screenshot
(Re Deliberately Not Shown -- for example, I presume that it's deliberate that during a battle there's no hover info on the scrolls, weapons, blessings or curses. Is this hidden for the same reason? If so, ignore this suggestion.)

Category: Pets
Issue: Pet page does not indicate which pet is active. All pets—including currently active—have the "Make Active Pet" link.
Note: Don't know when this happened, I think the active pet used to have a pink heart or something.
Heaps of great ideas! Added them all, thanks. :)

Hey! These are the suggestions Amber & Bug updated for us this week:
Sweet stuff! I'll add these to the list!
for user shops
The shop icons for our personal shops and galleries are so outdated...it would be so nice if we could get new ones? I know I could just code it or something but it' be a heck of a lot nicer if they were just prettier by default
Here is something small to add to Achievements in the third post: if possible, Legacy Achievements should be specifically marked as Retired.
New players, and really not even new players since it's been that way for years and it's not spelled out, may not realize that Legacy achievements are Retired. If you find a Legacy Achievement through the search function the only way to know it's a Legacy one is by the icon and if you haven't been here twelve years you might not make that guess. Even if you do see it's a Legacy one, Legacy Shops still exist and can be interacted with so a user still might not guess.
This is a bug; please file a report and we'll add it to our schedule :)
