No idea, but that would have been more polite of them than ignoring you D:
I don't really like Suebtalodge's early previews since it is hard to try look a strain when the base is inconsistent with that. Bubblejelly was done well, since they used a dark base the entire time. Also, I think their navigation is a little clunky sometimes, but I don't know anybody who has the ability to change the site, so you'll have to approach them.
i don't have an Subetalodge account and i have no clue how anything works on there :/ i don't use it at all except looking at the zombie strains (and that usually only on survival when there is a link somewhere on the strain tracking Topic) it took me literally 10 minutes to figure out how the hell i get to the strains
The reason the images have inconsistent bases is that in the bad old days of the v1 Wardrobe and non-Skin zombie infections they relied on people just taking their clothes off and screen-grabbing an image of each stage. Different users had different bases, skin shades, facial features, and so forth, so the gifs wound up being a crazy hodge-podge of different-looking people.
They're much better at it now*, but I don't think anyone wants to go back and replace the historical data.
i'm not saying anything about eyes and mouth but the image literally has items on it and also has them in the gif and it just makes it harder to see the strain progress it is especially annoying on the Love bug since the 1st stage is the one that is covered the most with all that stuff you can be easaly confused and be like "is that part of the stage or just the random crap this HA is wearing"
: no argument here mate. maybe next year we should track each infection and take our own shots on the Transparent Avatar?
yea i guess i'm gonna get love bug next year then be ready to bite me :P
(it doesn't have to be us, though... we can just take any user that signed up for a strain we haven't got on Transparent and track them)
My Classic infection took almost exactly 4.5 days to complete (via the notifications):
Friday (2.3) at 10:43pm til Wednesday (7.3) at 10:41am
I agree with all the remarks made here. My top pet peeves about this event are:
-The names of the strains. I was so confused sometimes about which strain someone wanted and pinged me for that I had to go to the first page and look for it.
-The signing and not knowing which strain you got, and people has to play 'where's waldo' to find out.
-A link to the forum and explanation on what happens after you signed up.
-And the wait time sigh
And, I'm still mad about that costly fly-by bite!! (lol)

I just saw these posts. http://subeta.wikia.com/wiki/Volunteer_Infection_Program
thats where the strain infos came from. hover over the name and it tells the strain
Oh, is that where you found the key words 2014 strains?
And this one is definitely a bit easier than the Subetalodge one. At least, it's a lot less clicking just to find out what keyword to use.
I want to make a thread in the Suggestions & Ideas forum soon (that way programmers have a time to do things,) so now is the time to get in any ideas or suggestions.
This Survival, I learned that the official FAQ still claims that the Bite Button greys out if you're wearing the wrong skin (ie the user Does Not Want Your Virus). I'm not sure if this is still possible with the new, "fancy" reload-proof holiday buttons, but I desperately want this back. ... or at least remove it from the FAQ so I can forget (again) that we ever had it.
