I joined Flight Rising a year ago (I'm in the Wind Flight) but I didn't play it much because of school and i was honestly confused somewhat haha

Hey hey! ^_^ I've mostly just been busy with real life and spending less time on Subeta lately. I'm definitely still around, though! I just got back home from the US (again) and am pretty jetlagged (I just woke up at 3.30 AM even though I held out til 11 PM D: ), so I figured I'd spend some time making an HA or two. ^^ How have you been? <3

I have hiatuses also where I only feed the dragons. However, it's an exciting time now with the new Ancient Breed.

I should log in again. I did check out the news because I heard about the Ancient Breed, and they're so lovely!

I have been pinged through this group multiple times to a Flight Rising thread. Is there any way that I can set things up so that I am not pinged through Colovaria to threads about games that don't happen on Subeta?

I do not want to be pinged to threads about Flight Rising, Love Nikki, Pokemon Go, etc. On people's discords I just mute these channels but I can't find an option to turn them off in Subeta forum groups... if there is a way, please let me know!

No, there isn't a possibility to mute special group pings.

I am very sorry things are bothersome here for you lately with the pings and the time-demanding HA contests.

I checked the FR thread and there were 3 pings in the last 7 days. They happened due to the excitement of new things and for free stuff. It wasn't planned to ping people to the group all the time and I always encourage players to subscribe to the thread. I also pondered to make a seperate ping group for this.

To just delete 3 pings in a week shouldn't be that horrible in my opinion, though. You get multiple pings for one custom wearable all the time.

Since I saw you complaining about it in Discord, too, I see how much this bothers you and I am asking myself if you are still happy here. I have no desire to cause you any trouble with Colovaria.

, I am sorry you were offended by my post regarding the way in which your contests have changed. It was intended as constructive criticism, as you seemed to believe that there was less participation in your contests due to the popularity of Discord. I don't think Discord has much to do with it. The contests are a lot more demanding than they used to be.

You can run your group any way that you want. I learned a lot from you about layering and doing makeup on subeta, and I'm very grateful for that. I enjoy the chats. I enjoy the birthday notifications. I enjoy looking at other people's submissions for the very complex contests that I personally do not have time to participate in.

However, I really do not want to be pinged for posts about this dragon game. Once to let people know you were making a thread about it was reasonable and fine, but now that we all know the thread exists, those people who really want to be kept informed about it can subscribe to that thread.

If you are considering making a separate ping group for that, I would really appreciate it if you did. I joined your group for activities that take place here on Subeta. I do not want to be kept informed about what's happening on a totally different site.

No, I am not offended. You are totally right, it is my group and the contest will take place at my discretion. I want them to differ from other HA contest where you have a short word as a theme or an item you have to use. There are enough of them around to participate in.

In such contests, I often see users taking an old avatar fitting the theme word and changing one or two things or slapping on the item asked for and that would sadden me.

I like to see avatars here which designs were thought about and I also like us to learn something new every time also. Discovering something new is fun! That's why some recherche is always needed for the contests. Very often, I found items in the wardrobe I seldom used or neglected at all when the HA making was really challenging.

Yes, sometimes the chance at winning a CW requires to make a HA pair and seldom, even several ones. However, in any case when the contest had subcategories to participate in or asked for several HAs, you always have 3 - 4 weeks of time to do them, so you only need a really short time per day in the wardrobe if you don't like to spend hours in it.

About the Flight Rising group, it was always my intention to make an extra group for it, and I have. To fuss about 3 pings you got in one week was unnecessary nevertheless and your wording perceived by myself as brusque. I would prefer a more conciliatory tone here in the group.

However, you are totally right, the contests should be fun for participants and the host. So if they are too demanding, there are always the parties and raffles for you and I hope you like them. I am happy to hear that you enjoy the group and have fun in parts of it!
