a good deed i'm going to do: I'm going to mail that note to the owner of the live poultry shop in Chinatown that screencap from Facebook where the vegan who keeps pissing on his locks brags about it so he knows who's doing it.

a place i'd like to visit: I want to go back to Tokyo and I want to go to Tasmania and look for thylacines.

a book i'd like to read: There'll be a new Foreigner book soon and I will have that as soon as I can get it.

a letter i'm going to write: oh shit I need to email a bunch of people and apologise for dropping off the face of the planet from being depressed. If I'm not playing games with people I suck at keeping interactions up when depressed because I have nothing to say that anyone wants to hear.

a new food i'd like to try: there's a bunch of keto and paleo foods I intend to try. I can't keep eating all these carbs. I basically should not eat even non-gluten grains or legumes except as a sometimes food on special occasions. My system hates them.

i'm going to do better at: getting things done. because is not the only crown ruler of unfinished projects. Weirdmageddon Tango needs work. There's a dress I haven't finished altering since like 2012.

this is aimee, one of my OCs. she's psychic, but mostly picks up on individual people's possible futures, and is very good at assessing information about them based off that, and so basically knows everything about everyone. but she's very polite about it. she doesn't really do anything with the information, just sits on it like a very pleased little dragon. but she is known to do a research or two, ofc alone in the library at midnight bc duh.

she's a big ol sweetie, a little more typical in her autistic traits than her friends, kind of a literal and straightforward thinker. her tone of voice rarely changes, just this chipper chirp, and she comes off as excited about everything, but also a little strange, like she's not really entering your sphere at all. she's trans, and cultivates a pseudo-victorian goth aesthetic. also she hoards everything that might be potentially useful to her magic practice. she has it all very neatly organised. she enjoys helping others, and mixes her own tea blends, which are always ready to share along with some psychic knowledge based advice. also, she knits.

i have a pet based off her! in her canonverse she's one of the knights of ren, which all my babies are based off of :3 she's the one with the skull face and the blanket draped over her head.

I'm late, so I don't know if this will count or not, but I thought I would participate anyway.

A bad habit I'm going to break - I would like to break my habit of procrastination for everything in my life. I get so far behind on things because I don't take the initiative to tackle them in the first place, and then I get overwhelmed, leading me to procrastinate even more.

A new skill I'd like to learn - I already have some experience, but it's a skill I would like to significantly improve - computer programming. What I have already learned has come easily, and it's something that I have enjoyed. It's also a possible career change if I really dove into it.

A person I hope to be more like - His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He is such a kind and compassionate human being. I try to channel him a little bit every day.

A good deed I'm going to do - This is tough, and I apologize for my language, but I'm going to try to not be such an asshole when I'm driving. I think the world around me would be a little bit better, one driver at a time.

A place I'd like to visit - I would like to visit anywhere in Europe, but that costs lots of money that I don't know, so I don't know if that would happen. Canada would be more realistic!

A book I'd like to read - Starless by Jacqueline Carey. She's one of my favorite authors, and I honestly haven't really done any reading since my daughter was born six years ago. I'm due for a good book!

A letter I'm going to write - I would like to send some letters to my elected United States Senators this year.

A new food I'd like to try - Anything! I love trying new things!

I'm going to do better at - Taking care of myself. That's my primary goal, always.

I am very sorry I couldn´t talk to you all yesterday. I was in hospital with my husband for pre-surgery examinations, he has another talk there on the 17th for this complicated ear surgery and a lot more appointments for other diagnostics next week so we hope we found out more by end of the week then.

What exactly is a Bahn mi? :-) And making mugs sounds amazing! We have many artists in Sylt, the vacation island we go to in the summer, who do this as a living.

I would love to visit New Zealand one day, too. The movie venues look amazing. We visited all the Jurassic Parc ones in Hawaii.

So you never read Harry Potter? You really should! It´s amazing! It was the first book series I read in English back then. I needed several days for the first ten pages, LOL

i knit, but i've given away just about everything i've made as gifts and i don't have any pictures of it. however i do have pictures of this:

which i made for sasha the first year i knew them, i guess i really liked them and i didn't even know it ^-^ 4 years later and we've been dating for quite a while, they're going to move in. anyway this sculpture was borne of the fact that they love bees, like, a lot. they named her bea. i made her base out of manilla folders and duct tape sculpted into the right shape, and covered it in yarn for the fuzzy bits and spraypainted pleather for the smooth bits. the antennae are pipe cleaners, as are the legs with beads on them, and the wings glued to clear plastic sheeting. the eyes i made out of sculpey. :)

they knit too, they're rather more impressive at it than i am. they even made a double sided scarf, and their own corset for a cosplay! but this is the pic i managed to scrounge up, a pillow they made:

This is my grandmother and only a few of her quilts that she has made. Since her eyesight is almost gone, she handed out quilts to her family and even my husband got one before we were married. I have a few quilts by her since I was a kid. My mom quilts too, but not as much as my grandmother did. I've also made two quilts with the help of my mom and grandmother. I'm hoping to continue the quilting once I get a sewing machine.

That's what I ended up using but I actually liked the feature in the wardrobe ^^; Lol hardly, we both were not good at it at all. We could get ONE chain going but never to the next line XD

Bahn mi is a Vietnamese sandwich a meat and a ton fresh veggies. They normally have radishes and pickled veggies from what I hear. Though a lot of the focus is supposed to go into a fresh bread which is like a small baguette. It just sounds so simple and good @.@ and oh that's awesome!!! I love seeing local artists work <3 I have one mug from a distant cousin that is just gorgeous. (Hoping to learn from him) I did take a couple classes and just did awful using the potters wheel. I did pretty well at sculpting though!
