My father is considering getting a flip phone...which I don't understand at all (he has a smart phone now). Why'd you throw your phone at the wall? D: I hope your trip went smoothly and you have lots of fun! We just got back yesterday evening from our 'trip' that was about 3 hours away (spent the night in a hotel). A lot of stuff...happened. But I also saw lots of adorable animals at the zoo/rescue, so that made up for it. You'll have to tell me all about your trip! c: Have fun! <3

she is the best. sadly she won't be able to visit this year as she had to take care of our old folks all this spring. i just take a long time to get back to things but i am slowly getting there.. yesterday i was actually able to start doing things again. it was a blast to remember. we had the youngest kids there and everyone wanted to steal them.. they thought they were the cutest things ever. :D my moms side of the family it wanting to do something next year.. which would be nice. its a much smaller family and he will like some a them a lot too, LOL my dad was super happy to finally have someone who wanted to go fishing with him.. they went out several times. celebrated my dads 80th and everyone was in tears.. it was so amazing that night.

that's alright, i understand why.. i was just hoping to have her help maybe getting the house a little cleaner and doing a garage sale.. but i will just have to figure out how to do a online one i guess. well they don't need too much care but this spring my mom had hip surgery and my dad had emergency eye surgery when his retina came unattached. i am almost there, lol will hopefully be busy this week.. gotta start planning for the looooong winter months. haha they sure did, i really hope i can find a picture from that night of them. haha xD yes i hope we can do it. we are looking to maybe get a travel trailer this year so we can stay at a lake for a weekend. once we get it to BC it will just stay at my parents. oh my dad is very likable.. everyone loves him. he's a jokester in a way. xD i used to look fishing when i was a kid but now i find it soooo boring LOL. it was an amazing time for sure, i had a blast.. sure came out tired though ^^

Oh, you have a lot of stuff to get rid of? Garage sales can be...cumbersome. We used to get rid of lots of stuff before we moved...although a lot of it goes for so cheap, haha. There are online garage sales? Aw, sorry to hear about the surgeries! It was...what 13 years ago when my mother had to have retina surgery for the same thing. It was a scary experience for sure. You have to start planning for winter already? I do not envy you. It sounds like a great bonding time for them. I've never been camping or anything, so I can't relate, haha. I've heard it can be fun...maybe someday. Aw, your father sounds awesome! Fishing does indeed seem boring...waiting around for /maybe/ something to bite. Glad you had so much fun! <3

i do, i have a room full downstairs and i'm sure i could find more things around the house, LOL. well there is and there isn't, i will advertise what i have online and if someone wants to see it i will make one day a week or every other to meet people so they can see items. would make it easier for me then having people come and not have the right change and be so far from town to bother. no worries the hip surgery my mom had was needed and she is doing much better now.. she is actually doing stuff again. i wasn't there for my dads and no one texted me until about a week later.. i wasn't really pleased. yes, winter can be many months here so its best to have a plan and things prepared just in case. i like camping but i can't do the tent and no outhouse camping, i at least need a half decent bed and a hole in the ground, LOL xD it can be exciting at times, especially if you do catch something LOL and sometimes the reaction you can get when i kid catches their first (can't wait for that).

One can always find things to throw away/get rid of, haha. I know my room is full to bursting with stuff, but I don't want to get rid of any of it! And yeah, selling stuff is a pain. It can be easier for some items than others. You have a lot of 'big ticket' items that would be good to sell online? Living farther out can certainly be a problem for traditional garage sales for sure. Glad to hear your mother is doing much better and doing things! Yikes, they really should have messaged to you about your father sooner! I imagine winter lasts a heck of a lot longer in Canada than it does here, so that's understandable. xP And yeah, the no outhouse thing would get me, too. The closest to 'camping' I ever got was with Girl Scouts, and we had a sort of house out in the woods and then went hiking and stuff. We still made s'mores, though! But think of all those times when you don't catch something when fishing, just feels like a waste of time. xP Aw, a kid catching their first fish sounds adorable.

i have stuff that people would need, like kids clothes and toys, when they can't afford new stuffs. haha thats almost camping.. compared to some of the RVS and shit you can get. they come with tvs, wifi and all sorts of luxuries.. that's NOT camping. haha hubby loves it still, he went out yesterday and caught just one. xD yes you should see it they usually just freak out about it.

Aw, yeah. Kids grow so quickly they always need new clothes. xP I remember getting some clothes from my cousins, but not a lot of hand-me-downs because I'm the eldest. 'Almost' camping is probably enough for me. My coworker was talking about how she had to get a new RV or something because the rain got into hers and ruined a lot. And yeah, RVs with all those luxuries...why even bother? You can just stay home and watch TV, haha. Aww, I hope he caught a decent sized fish. I think I would freak out if I caught a fish for the first time, too.

yes they sure do, new stuff at least once a year now, not every few months like when they were babies, LOL i love previously loved clothes, you know they fit better as they have been washed.. you don't have to worry about shrinkage or stretching as they have already done so if they needed. haha yea, i can't do the tent and sleep on the ground thing, i get way too sore and then i'm really grumpy cause i hurt and am possibly cold af. i know right.. its defiantly not camping when you have a TV/wifi.. play a game/cards if its shitty out. he didn't that day but yesterday he caught 22 fish.. he had a blast.
