Yeah, my thoughts exactly. xP Yeah, chickens/turkeys and such can't fly, that's right. I remember that 'Chicken Run' movie where the rooster cons the chickens into thinking they can learn how to fly, haha. I always thought it would be amazing to be able to fly, like a superhero. c;

haha yes that is one of them xD i still only have the 3, will keep it going till tomorrow and candle them to see if i see any movement.. if not they're done. i'm thinking i may just keep the 3 for myself. the one of mine that hatched is from my hen that i found dead that morning.

no :S i got three chicks.. i will be keeping them. today i will be checking the eggs and seeing if i can see movement or just dead bodies. probably dead though or they should have hatched by now. need to get the incubator cleaned and ready for another batch. just my own eggs this time. still learning all this :)

Yeah, maybe next spring then I can get an internship or something. That or I'll have to work more. xP My week has been alright, work was boring. I did go and see a movie in the theaters for the first time in over a year on Tuesday, so that was fun. How about your week?

thanks, yea no more.. from checking all the eggs.. i have a feeling the other eggs did something to mine and the only few of hers that grew. at least the next batch will only be mine and i will see. yes, i was kinda down to have lost my momma hen.. she was the leader of the group.. but the one chick of mine that hatched is hers so i decided i will grow them out for myself. hoping that one is roo and i can sell the one i have a use my own grown and hoping the other two are hens.. but we will see in a couple months and see if i can identify them then, LOL here are the babies thought :)

How do you know if they've been fertilized? I mean like you thought you'd have 20ish but ended up with 3. What made you think you'd get 20?

What did you see?! I went to the movies last week. Hadn't been in a long time either and saw Ocean's 8.

having a rooster would mean they should be but if when you should see growth and you can see through the egg its probably not fertilized.

Sorry to hear that. The eggs did something to the other ones? Hopefully the next batch will be different! And yeah, it's always sad to lose animals, but at least you have the chick to carry on the legacy! I hope everything works out like you want! And aww, the chicks are adorable! I saw Incredibles 2, haha. I went with my family, and we /love/ the original and watched it a bunch of times when I was a kid. I enjoyed the second one (not as much as the first, but what can you do). Plus, they upgraded the theater; it was reclining seats now, so it's a lot more comfortable. I've never seen any of the Ocean's movies, was it good?

one egg can contaminate the others, i think that may have been the case. hope so.. will be starting it on saturday night. so hopefully i can get three more eggs from the one hen i have left that lays now. can't wait until the two chicks i got in april start laying. yes, i really hope its a lovely roo so i can. a hen would work too but i would still have to get a new roo or else it would be related to daddy, xD the little brown was the colour i was looking to keep 3-6 of if i had a good hatch but not now.. so as so why i will just keep my babies.

I LOVE the reclining seats! I brought a blanket with me last time and I was so tucked in and comfy. It's such a nicer experience now. A little more worth the ridiculous price. My boyfriend really wants to go see Increbiles 2! Oceans 8 was good! Not as good as the others in the franchise, but still good!
