Oh no! What happened?

she had a ruptured anal gland and she couldn't walk, her front wrists were two sore but everything else is fine. vet thinks its a arthritis where the immune system attacks the joints. she will be on pills for 5 months. she is walking today :)

Oh good! I'm glad she's doing better. My cousin's dog takes arthritis pills but doesn't seem to have any problems! How old is your dog? And what kind? I have a spaniel/border collie mix who is about 2 and a half years old

yea, i'm hoping after 5 months she won't need them anymore but if she does i know i can at least afford the pills. shes a shitpoo (shih tzu/poodle) and shes 8. i also have a 5 year old great pyrenees

Ugh yeah pet meds can be so expensive! My pup is prone to UTIs and the antibiotics are so expensive ;-; She's had like 3 since I've adopted her about 2 years ago. Aw cute! I wanted to get one of those for my mom, but ended up adopting a maltese mix.

haha, yea a great pyrenees and a maltese are very much different xD my mom has a cat who suffers from UTIs but hes just on a special food.

Oh I meant the shih tzu/poodle xD Hmm idk you could get food for it? My vet never mentioned that

our vets all have special foods for UTI's, one brand i know is Science Diet but there are many others.

Ohhh yeah the vet sells science diet at the office. It's just so expensive x_x

yup, i used to feed Now! but i haven't been able to feed it for some time now.. my dogs are getting crappy food until i win the lottery xD

My dog won't eat the crappy food D: It's so annoying haha. She just stares at it in her food bowl and huffs at me. I need to win the lottery too.

My dog isn't spoiled and does not get human food. Sad to say. Although if she ever goes to stay with my mom I'm pretty sure my mom feeds her all human food .-.

its funny, whenever my father is around all animals are at him when hes eating because we all know he feeds them, lol xD
