- to play drums ...

1. Pick up drumsticks.
2. Hit drums in rhythm.
3. If there's are pedals (or pedal) then hit it with your feet (foot).
4. If there are cymbals then hit them with the drumsticks for accents.
5. If there are no drumsticks or pedals then pick up drum and hit it with your hand in rhythm.
6. Congratulations ... you are now a drum player. (No one said anything about how well you had to play. :-) )
