Last call, folks, the Gigantic Silver Service area is closing. If your team is still playing, please get your questions to me. You do have to play any more since all is optional, but right now, only three teams are finishing the mystery. I'll give you until Sunday, April 8, at 11:59 pm Subeta time to join if you want.
Otherwise, since all three teams asked questions along the same lines, I will post appropriate answers on the story thread. However, if you are participating then, you can't join in because you now believe you know the answers.
As of April 9th, the teams still playing will have one week to submit your mystery solution on the story thread, and see how close you've come. The Squirrel's Bounty will then be open, with the teams who finished the mystery receiving extra prize picks, although everyone who played will win a prize.

The following teams have assembled in the side salon to hear the answers to their questions: The Leviathans, Reaver, SQL Girls, Tea_Roll's Pepper Rebels, Traveler, and Webby's Watson's. The others are remaining in the main dining area for a nightcap by their own choices.
Most of these teams asked the same sort of questions, and some asked questions that would reveal too much of the solution when answered, so Nutsy and Francine will try to answer them all in composites that should allow each "finalist" team to create a full solution RP. Some of you may feel you didn't get a needed question answered and may appeal to me by smail; others may have hint given to them that they didn't request, in which, case, you're welcome!
Here is the requested information:
- Aphros owned the fake iceberg and was prepared to sink the Gigantic to ruin Boreal Shipping. In order to weaken the hull, Aphros hired a thug who normally collected gambling debts to "recruit a patsy." The thug selected a "sitting duck" but when the mark didn't want to comply, he threatened to break the mark's wife's legs, thus blackmailing the mark into sabotaging the ship.
- Boreal shipping is a family-owned corporation. The only people who could replace Jels would have to be family members. Shortly before the voyage, Carrie noticed a stranger wearing a low-slouched hat stalking the headquarters, and this is what triggered her anxiety.
- The genealogy chart showed the entire Boreal family tree, including legitimate and illegitimate offspring. The solicitors' letter cofirmed that a certain DNA test shown to Bejamin was indeed accurate.
- The photo album shows Alexis and Benjamin smiling at what appears to be a performance of the Cirque de Lune. However, Alexis appears to be wearing some kind of costume. The photo was surprising because Benjamin has never mentioned Alexis and they didn't appear close.
- The steward's name was Thomas Caribou, which was his Mother's name. He was coshed by a decorative cane, tossed overboard, and drowned.
- Ermentine is not in league with Aphros. In fact, she thwarted them. She is also not having an affair with anyone! If there is an affair, it does not involve her. To repeat, Ermentine is innocent of any type of wrongdoing.
- The species in all of this mess was cervidae. Reindeer must be enchanted by "holiday magic" to fly. None of them, not even Francine, fly.
