lol, good luck XD Although if I support you in this, your wife will use it as an excuse to buy more rare jewels, weapons and islands. So for shames! :P
(Ooh, and I see your HA has a scythe I've never seen before XD If the snake based off of the Garden of Eden? It has a red fruit with it. Or does it have something to do with the underworld? The fruit kind of reminds me of a Pomegranate and Pomegranates remind me of Hades, one of the few decent and non cheating, attacky Gods, aside from Hermes and Anteros <3)

I...um...feel properly chastened ((is she still watching??))
I've had this particular scythe for years - it was part of a user run event :) And yes, I believe it's the snake from the Garden. It was made by another user and there weren't copies for so long and then amazing things happened and I was able to trade for it.
Back again - still so much catching up to do. Being sick for a couple of weeks really let things pile up.
- so sorry to hear the year has had such a bad start - that's a lot of things to be frustrated about. Very glad you are still able to keep your sense of humor. Hoping things start improving FAST!
Being sick is really NOT fun - so glad I don't get that sick very often. Hoping I am now done for another decade or so. :-)
- thanks for the welcome back - much appreciated.
- that sounds like a lot of fun. Kids that age have so much energy and imagination. And I'm sure the teachers much appreciate all that laminating, copying and cutting. There is always so much of that needed.
I don't really do anything official anymore. I spend lots of time on Subeta and also love to read, play cards and board games and spend time with friends and family. But I love teaching and once thought about becoming a grade school teacher (I wound up in computer science instead).
- aw, thanks. I'm glad too. Looking forward to solving more puzzles with you!
I taught people how to use their computers, that was a lot of fun! If I could have had a 900 hot line for beginners when everyone was using windows 7 I could have made a lot of money. I knew so much about computer programs then. My sister and friends would call me while I was driving and I could visualize every step to help her work through. Windows 10 makes a lot less sense to me, and so much is blocked if someone doesn't marry their computer to online services. People my age want to BUY and OWN, not all this "rent a service" stuff that's the latest computer craze. I am finally beginning to enjoy my afternoon curriculum. The balance of nice to naughty has shifted again and they are beginning to respond to my style. Phew! I thought it would take until December and when it was still bad in early January I panicked!
Speedy recovery!
- Windows 7 is really where Windows got things together and started making things work that had worked on Mac for years. I'm still running it on my home computers (although one of them refuses to update the huge cumulative update they make these days). It simply refuses to download it for no known reason. I haven't played with Windows 10, but I'm fond of Mac's and I really loved UNIX. I could never have been any sort of serious Windows support person though (well, maybe just for beginners), so I'm really impressed by your talent.
Glad to hear you are now enjoying your afternoons. Kids that age definitely take some handling if you want them to respond well to you. But they are also so much fun!
Thanks to both of you. Sometimes a sense of humor is the best a gal can do. The health issues are ones that I've been dealing with for years and years and now all of a sudden my insurance company has decided that the med I've been taking for a long time for my migraines is experimental for the treatment of them and won't cover it. Waiting for a letter from them so I can appeal because out of pocket is expensive.
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.

Hm, thou sounds far too suspicious. Perhaps I should abandon this more "supportive" side and just punish thee. Let's see....brings out gigantic book of creative and entirely cruel punishments How attached are you to your new boy toys and your dragon hordes? :P
That snake and your entire outfit is incredible, I love it <3

- aw - thank you. Not sure what I did to earn it, though. :-)
- a sense of humor can never hurt and can often make things a lot better. So it's good that you are able to keep yours handy when adversity drops by.
Argh! Don't even get me started. I simply don't understand why we allow insurance companies to choose our medications (or our treatments), overriding our doctors (whose actual job it is) simply by somehow refusing to pay the bills. I do understand that we need to keep medical costs under control and agree that insurance companies should have some say in setting copays for various things - meds included (and with the caveat that they need to remember/be reminded that they are actually paid to provide coverage). But the idea that they simply decide to pay nothing at all is just not right. If your doctor is willing to put in the work and insist, it is possible the insurance company will make an exception for you (but doctors can't do that for too many cases or they'd need whole new offices full of staff paid just to argue with the insurance providers). Good Luck. I hope your are able to get what you need or some new drug that works as well or better. Sending lots of hugs your way.
No letter today so I contacted them online and asked when I can expect it so I can appeal.
hugs

- hope it show up soon. It's no fun being stuck in insurance limbo.
By the way, your HA is totally adorable.
I hope it does too, hate the waiting, I just want to get on with it.
Thanks, love yours too. makes me want to hug something, lol.

- I can understand how you feel. Waiting is the worst.
Oooh - thank you. I really get excited when someone likes one of my HAs. I used to be completely HA challenged before they finally got rid of the layer limits and just made one item limit. Since then I've learned to at least be able to make a few HAs I enjoy. This one is just me trying to see how many dragons I can fit into one single HA. (And then I couldn't resist the cute dog/wolf.) I really need a dragon for where the dog is and another one for the left side, but haven't found any yet. :-)
We just need to reassess how we look at it - I'm supporting the local economy ;)
And thank you!
For some reason i dont even know, i have suddenly decided that i will do nusty. It appears there is still time so yay. Im undecided if i shall be solo or not.
It's cute that you think you know all of my spy network.. just keep believing that. ;) Team Fresh Cake has spread far and wide and you never know who may be watching.
