Could you go back into your settings and verify you have nothing selected? You might need to re-save them, since the forums were not storing them correctly in the past. Let me know if that doesn't resolve the issue?

re-saving my (blank) preferences worked! i now have "Forum Pulse: You don't have any pulse forums selected. You can do that here." instead of wesker's latest post in set advice.
guess i should've tried that earlier, whoops ;w; thank you for the fix, bug!!
Still having issues.
All of B&C is ticked for me. I untick the Bragging & Complaining Gift Bragging subforum. Hit Update Preferences. Page reloads with the Gift Bragging subforum still ticked. I untick the entirety of the B&C forum with all of its subforums. Update Preferences. Everything is saved, B&C and all of its subforums are unticked.
Tried unticking ALL of my forum pulse settings, saving, then picking out a handful and unticking some subforums. Still didn't work. ._. I cannot select a subforum, or a main forum independently of eachother. I cannot have a main forum category saved without any of its subforums selected.
Unless it's supposed to work like that, in which case... a note about that would be aprecciated. :'D

I didn't know if it's a BIG deal or if it's supposed to be that way but I noticed this earlier today in my pulse:
Specifically, the 'Leave of Absence' post. But when I click on it, it says: "You aren't allowed here!"
Just noting it here just in case these are like...Admin Boards? And they're not supposed to show up in case there's sensitive information in the title?
Or if this is a forum group that I'm not part of, in which case, again, hopefully it's not meant to be a 'private' forum group.
Thankfully, either way, I can't go the forum so that's cool. c: Just didn't want to invade on anyone's privacy.

1- Did you recently change and save your forum pulse settings? Or are they still at the defaults? 2- What do your forum pulse settings currently look like?

I did change them - as you can see, a few are unchecked.
Like I said, it might not be a big deal - I just didn't want someone to post private information in their titles on the admin boards (if those exist here?) or on their private forum groups and have it show up in the forum pulse when it's not supposed to.
Just to double check (not meaning to be creepy) but I went to Destiny's recent post/topics and that one doesn't show up so I'm assuming it's supposed to be private, therefore, probably best not to blast it on the forum pulse, lol. =w=
