"Everyone grab on and we'll head off. For those unused to porkey travel...well you'll be in for a shock." With those words of comfort, he extended the wheel for everyone to grab onto.

Once the time hit, the portkey sucked everyone away and they arrived at their destination. They were suddenly in a large open area that looked more like a desert and rather devoid of life. "G'day," the jovial man said, "I'm Irwin, your tour guide today. You all ready for adventure? If you wanna climb aboard. The bottom deck is our cafe where you can order drinks and foods. We'll be stopping at a restaurant for lunch don't you worry. Vegetarian and vegan dishes as well. We'll head to the top deck for the real fun."

Once everyone seemed reasonably comfortable the bus started moving. "Our first stop is to visit the amazing diricawl. Now for those who don't know, A diricawl, is what muggles called a dodo bird. They can disappear and reappear at will. Muggles think they are extinct but of course they aren't." The bus suddenly halted. The landscape was lush with a lake, trees and flowers all around. Milling around the lake were several large, plump feathery birds. One bobbed towards them. "Oh yes, that reminds me," Irwin said, "some of these guys you can feed. How? You ask?" He hit a button and suddenly the bus lowered itself down to a "one decker" bus. "Isn't magic great? Don't worry, the bottom deck is still there and no one would be hurt if they were in it. Now, Mr Cassidy will hand you guys a bag of bird food. You can drop it on the ground, let them eat out of your hand or set on the window sill. If you scare one it'll apperate away so try to be calm. You can keep your hands in if you feel nervous, but these guys won't harm you at all. In fact you can pet them. Oh and feel free to ask me any questions."

Jasper handed everyone a bag of bird food. He looked very "happy" to help.

"Hope you lot enjoyed the diricawl," Irwin said as the bus started to move slowly. It rose back to a "two decker" bus and then the a clear glass roof descended encompassing the bus in a big dome. "Our next stop, is a little more dangerous of an animal, but no need to fear we are safe." The bus gained speed as the landscape shifted. The bus stopped on a low cliff over looking a majestic scene. It looked like something from the Indian Himalayas--because that's what it was made to look like.

Irwin smiled as the students eagerly waited to see what animal was residing here. Then Irwin pointed above them. Flying overhead was a 15 foot flying snake-like creature, with a teal and purple body with purple wings. A plume of feathers at the top and a tiny tufft on its tail. "That, mates, is an Occamy."

"Over in those tall mountains are the nests. Maybe you can see the silvery eggs? Occamies are very aggressive, to anyone that approaches, especially with eggs around. They mostly eat rats, insects, birds and sometimes monkeys. They can grow and shrink to fit in spaces, which is pretty remarkable. They are found in India and the Far East."

((ooc: it says in the harry wikia I'm using, that there were two legs in legends but in the Fantastic Beast movie none, so, going with that. I don't know anything about the movie really so I'll be using the wiki to reply or if no other info--making it up. Also, I have permission to feature dangerous creatures so long as no students can be harmed, or be almost attacked--that sort of thing. So, enjoy them from a far ;) ))

The bus started driving and then suddenly it took off in the air and it was flying. The students got to see the lovely occamy briefly really close as the bus gained speed as it passed. Then it suddenly slowed down and started descending. They landed in a meadow over looking some mountains.

The bus's roof descended once again and returned back to the single decker bus. In the meow there were several horses grazing. But not just any horses, no... these had wings. "We've got the Abraxan, which the large fellows that look like palomino horses. They are powerful. You won't be getting any whiskey to feed them with though." He chuckled at his own joke. "The ones that are chestnut in colour are Aethonans and finally the Granian which are the grey ones. My happy helper Mr Cassidy will now give you all a bucket filled with some hay. They are very social horses and used to people so feel free to pet them, but please don't try to get on one of them. We are not able to accommodate rides." As he spoke several of the horses flew overhead. "Any questions for me?"

Jasper wasn't exactly happy as he sighed and went to distribute the buckets. Still he did seem to have a slight smile on his face as one of the horses tucked their head in the bus to get his bucket of hay. He petted it before giving the student their bucket. Then he went to his seat and started feeding one of the horses that came up to him.

"Alright, everyone time to move on," Irwin said. "Please make sure your hands are in, we are going to be adding the roof again. I imagine you all are pretty hungry since is about noon now. So have a bite to eat and enjoy this next stop." Once more the roof descended and then the bus took off. They flew for a good ten minutes before the entered what looked like a cave. The bus landed and went deeper and deeper underground until their pathway became a clear class wall and they saw they were under water.

The sea view was amazing as the bus parked in side a large circle. There were benches, tables and chairs all over with breath-taking views. And there was a restaurant. With a station to order.

"This entire area is actually the restaurant, so place your order and enjoy the view with your meal. Now, besides the gorgeous fish, we also have a magical creature to view. Ah, there's George now. If you look to the left," Irwin said, "you'll see George. He's a sea serpent and he's about 90 feet long. The average is about 100 feet. Now don't worry, there really has never been any attacks on record for sea serpents but we are protected anyway. George won't feel any vibrations from tapping on the glass. Honestly they are actually pretty peaceful." George came into view. He had a snake like body and a horse like head and looked rather scary. He move gracefully though, with his body forming humps as he swam. "Curiously enough the Loch Ness monster is the most famous sea serpent around, but is actually a kelpie." The doors to the bus opened. "Alright, a bell will sound letting you know you have five minutes left. So you've got 55 minutes to enjoy these lovely creatures and eat. Enjoy! Feel free to chat with me and ask questions if you want."

The roof magically went away again so Jasper could help hover Mallowsweet to the ground. Jasper gave her a slight smile.

The tone here has taken on a lot more angst than I was hoping for. So I'd like to calm things down and lessen this serious tones. I'm trying my best to make it an enjoyable trip. Because of this, I'm changing the last two animals as well. We were going to see trolls and Acromantulas but I'm feeling this will only increase the tension. So I'll will be re-doing my lesson plan and trying to find something that will be fun--and danger-free which is a huge task. Hopefully the giftshop and animals there will be fun too.

After some more time passed, Mr Cassidy took the last sip of his drink and returned all his dishes to the area to be washed. Then in a suprisingly quiet voice which some how managed to fill the area he said, "Alright students we need to head back onto the bus for the next adventure."

When Mallowsweet was ready, Jasper once again levitated her onto the second decker of the bus. While Jasper did that, Irwin kindly escorted Magnus back into the bus, the boy hadn't seemed to even noticed he'd moved. Soon everyone was back in place and the bus started leaving through tunnel that suddenly became illuminated. The roof descended once more. They drove up a winding path and soon were back outside, but this time they were in a forest. Sitting on the branches were dozens of what at first appeared to be monkeys. But these were more akin to a frog-monkey hybrid. The skin was green, it had short horns. The ones that were smiling had razor sharp teeth.

"Got a lot of them out today," Irwin said, "What you see, is a Clabbert. It used to be only found in America, but now they live world-wide." Suddenly the large pustule on the centre of several clabberts' heads started flashing red. "The flashing is because it senses danger. In fact, at one time wizards owned these guys to help warn them of muggles approaching. But this caused their muggle neighbours to believe their Christmas lights were still on. It eats mostly lizards and small birds and the webbed hands and feet help them climb. Watch as it moves, its really graceful."

"Alright mates," Irwin said, "time to move on. This will be our last stop. We'll walk from there to the gift shop and your portkey. Now our next place is a petting zoo, so please feel free to interact with the animals there. All of the ones in the zoo are very friendly and used to human contact. There's also food available just read the names of the food as the puffskeins won't want certain foods. I'll still be around if there are any questions so feel free to ask. Hope you enjoyed the trip."

The bus took off and brought them back to the "desert" location that they first arrived in. Suddenly the land shifted and the mirage lifted away. THere was a large shop and a huge corral of animals. "So we've got Augureies, which are the Irish phoenixes and a lot more abundant than the typical phoenix. Its that greyish bird sitting on the fence. There's about five here currently. Next in the corral we've got Jobberknolls. These blue birds never make a sound until they die and then play every sound backwards. We've also got Puffskeins, Crups which are dogs with a forked tail. These haven't had their tails altered. We've also got Kneazles, which are closely related to cats, very smart and their tails are kinda plumed like a lion, There are different breeds of them too. We've got a couple of fwoopers, donated by families. Don't worry, silencing charms are on these pretty birds. For those that like lizards, we've got a moke. It looks similar to a bearded dragon. Like the occamy, it can change size at will. Wizard kind loves mokeskin bags because only the owner can get what ever they put in it out. We also have a mooncalf. That little guy is in the building there. Please be quiet going in it okay? They are shy but he likes people. We have the building spelled to appear night time for him." THe bus doors opened and the roof descended. Jasper helped Mallowsweet down with magic.

A loud voice came over the microphone, so everyone could hear, "Well mates, the gift shop is just through that door if you wanna head over there. We've got a lot of things for sale."

The inside of the gift shop was massive and comprised of two large rooms. To one side, it said Pets and Supplies. In this room was a mecca of pet toys and supplies as well as rows and rows of cages. There was a friendly sales lady waiting to help anyone and plenty of animals. There was even a pen with a bench, complete with toys and treats, were you could take the animal and play in safely so as better to bond with it and make sure it was the pet for you.

Magnus finished shopping himself. He snuck a mooncalf plushie in Drew's bag. He picked some books for the Wilder clan and one for Merlin. Zoe was able to find a small book on Nifflers for her 2 galleons, then she had to stop looking. River had bought Merlin a fwooper and figured they could transfer the licence later. He couldn't miss out on such a neat bird.

Irwin smiled. "I'm glad you enjoyed it Drew, Would love to show them around," he said. "Ah so you're after my job. I'll keep a close eye on you young man."

Jasper finished buying the books he wanted and suddenly called to the students. "Alright everyone, portkey is leaving. Hope you enjoyed your outing." They all grabbed the portkey, which whisked them and their new animal companions home.
