My thoughts exactly. Essentially (to get you up to speed) we have two locations. One near my house and one downtown. I was hired on just under 2 years ago to work at the one near my house but the manager of the downtown location was pregnant and they needed someone to take her job for the year for her maternity leave - so I did. She just came back last week and told me that she wants her job back fully (which is totally her right) and that she doesn't need help in terms of running the business. I realized I'd REALLY miss out on that aspect of my job. I'm now 2 days close to my house and 3 days downtown... but mostly just taking clients because there's not much management I can do in just 2 days near my house.. but they need the most help. The director is DROWNING in work to do.

Hmm, that is really strange and you talked to the director and know how to help her already. Sounds like they are trying to rip you off to me :I

I'm not positive that that's the problem.. I really do think it's a case of revenue. I would have to be replaced downtown and that'd be tricky cause we aren't getting ANY applications lately. And I'm pretty busy downtown and in demand. So I'd definitely miss my clients.. but I think I'd rather advance my career than hang onto my clients. I'll make new ones!

LOL Thanks! :D I have to admit, I LIKE what I cook. But I never know if it's as good as I think it is, or if it's just me. even though, before my daughter became 'vegan' she used to like what I made. (the boy always just says "yah mom, it was good" I don't get much of a reaction from him) heh.

well today I feel like I was run over by a truck. yesterday we took the oldest grand son to get fitted for his first tux. he's 12 but going to be an usher in daughters wedding. no not her son, a different daughters son. lol. gets confusing at times I know.
Then we got hubby fitted for a new suit and me a "mother of the bride" dress. then went to wally world with oldest daughter so she could get some groceries for the kids.

all this happened after I had already been to wally world for our own grocery shopping. and I am paying for it today with sore muscles, ugh.

hope all is well with everyone else. don't forget coda caves today and tomorrow. and can someone tell me what this is?:

Welp, woke up and my husband was suuuuper sick. We caught a virus from the nursing home his grandma is in, well at least he did so FAR and his dad. Where you feel like you have food poisoning, all the symptoms, but its not food poisoning. I have some of the issues atm but not throwing up so I went to work…. Hopefully I don’t start feeling worse. DX Also we are gonna have to buy a new washing machine, oh boy! Lol

omg I've seen skye_raven around the threads! that's SO SAD!!!

yah. There was a child in our area, that just died. he came home from school thursday, not feeling well, the parents cuddled him, etc. Took him to the hospital saturday, and he passed on sunday. it happen so fast and sudden.

, I remember when my daughter was at school (hour and half away) and she had to force her self to go down 3 floors to her car, dig through the seats till she found enough money and had to DRIVE to the entrance of the apt. complex to get a ginger ale from the soda machine. heh the next day, (this was when i had a car) i went to the store, got her soda, juice crackers, noodle soup, etc, and drove all that way, just to take her the stuff, so she would have something. heh. she loves me forever for doing that to her.

but man. i remember being in texas, and getting sick, and wishing my mom was there to fix me something. lol it sucks when you're alone and sick. even if you mainly don't want any one around. heh.

Indeed! Worse when the whole family has it lol, Hale, his dad and his grandma! I am sure to have it soon ugh. I had a migraine one time where I was throwing up and my mom drove me home, I will never forget that
