Well we are all with her but we can't take care of her. She is unable to walk at all so she will have to be completely in diapers where ever she goes currently, and we don't want to hurt her or one of us in trying to change her because we don't know how to lift her properly DX

That is what we are suggesting to my husband's dad but he wants to take her out. Which we do not suggest. Thus the issue because he is basically in charge in the situation. Someone is going to end up getting hurt DX She is currently in a home, but the current home is also not treating her right. Maybe because of how she is acting maybe because they are just butt heads but who freakin knows DX

oh dear. doesn't the place she's at require you to know how before you take her out. i know its a very delicate procedure.. taking sometimes 3 people, not to harm her. you have to be able to support all her weight to change her so nothing breaks.

Exactly DX they don't require anything. Really they just want to keep her there because they are going to charge 5k a week once the medicare rehab runs out. They are barely doing anything as it is. Stressing me out to no end DX

oh geeze, i think she needs a better place to be safe. i had a aunt that would constantly fall and break her hip.. the place she was at we had to visit in her room only. another aunt lived a community home, so she was allowed to go and walk around the place and to go out so she had to let them know.

Exactly. DX his dad is just totally against a home but at this point it is the safest place for her, even if she isn’t happy about it :/ we don’t want her in a home either but if she can’t walk we can’t take care of her DX

yea my one aunt didn't want to be there.. but if you don't want/can take a course to take care of them.. it has to be somewhere safe.

And you have to have someone that can be there 24/7 which none of us can DX -sigh- idk what they are going to do
