i made my "fake" mini beef wellington. used spinach and goat cheese. i should have made it much thicker, cause you hardly could tell that the cheese and spinach was there. (hopefully I'll have veggies to go with it today, and post instagram)

i also took the other half of the sirlion roast, and put it in a small crockpot with this 'store bought' "Tavern Style" bag of some sort of 'quick' thing the man brought home. (truthfully, to me, it taste a lot like that "mississippi roast" that, was it ? had on facebook) only without the pepperoncini

i'll probably whine up using it for my asian noodles. (have to say asian, cause i make a mix of 'korean, japanese' chinese' lol)

any way. i wrapped one of the fake wellington's up to give to my son, when the man goes over to his place tomorrow.

ok. running now. got to take my shower, and roast some carrots and asparagus. :D

I hope so! I am super elated to be an auntie again today! He is about a month early but the drs think he'll be ok. He will just have to spend about a week or so in the NICU I think, not sure at this point.

Perhaps it is the risk of having a too large baby, like you mentioned? IDK why either - or maybe it gets more dangerous? (shrug) I am sure your dr will do what s best for your health though.

You want a c-section?? My mom had one with two of her pregnancies and she did not like it. Mostly because the recovery is slower and more painful - plus then there is the scar/scar tissue to work with (scar tissues always hurt more than regular tissues esp if bumped/hit/etc.). I only had a tiny incision on my belly and it did not go lower then the fat and it still hurts me now! I can only imagine a full incision down below the fascia would hurt more.

Why do you want a c-section? If it is the pain you are unliking they can always give you pain blocks, right?

I can understand that - I definitely did not want to push out when I thought I might have a child too. I have always wanted a c-section. Now I am not so sure. I have random pain under the incision where they removed the fat, strange right? The actual incision does not hurt though. shrug my mom only had pain right after it was done, maybe a couple weeks of discomfort and inability to lift things/move things/etc. But after that period she was fine with pain unless some child randomly jumped on her and landed on her incision, then it hurt.

I cut my finger when I was 5 years old, and it has a spot of scar tissue on left over from the healing process. Whenever I hit that finger and the scar tissue it hurts ten times worse than it should and it tingles a lot. Isn't that so strange?

Thank you - so do I (love being an auntie) - it is the best! It's especially great when you are not married with kids of your own, so you can spoil your nieces and nephews without end! lol I am so guilty of doing this. xD BTW I love your cute HA!

That is strange but I understand it. I got in a car accident when I was young and still hav a big scar right above my belly and it hurts sometimes
