Hurray, it's showing up now!

I have Edit Settings (with a ton of checkboxes) but still no Pulse.

My Forum Pulse has yet to be populated, but it's a step in the right direction!

Do the settings for this seem to be bugged out for anyone else? I keep seeing threads for forums I have unchecked. eg I'm seeing a ton of luminaire giftbox threads despite unchecking the luminaire forums. Also, it seems like if you have a main forum checked, you can't uncheck its subforums? If I have, say, bragging & complaining checked and I try to uncheck gift bragging, I'll save my settings and the gift bragging box will automatically be rechecked. Is that a bug or a feature?

- Same here. I only have about 1/4 of the forums still checked right now, but it seems like I'm still getting updates for everything. I'm also getting updates for GA forums even though I don't have a GA and can't access those threads. :P Edit: The settings might be working now. Maybe they're cached?

Some suggestions:

1. Add the forum or subforum that the post is from, because title alone frequently aren't enough to tell what the thread's about. (like "Posted by in Site Feedback")

2. Update the times for the last post on a thread. When something first pops up on the forum pulse, it says 2-10 seconds ago, but then that never updates again. If the forums are slow or someone doesn't have many forums selected, these can sit on the page for several minutes.

3. On the settings page, indent subforums under their parent forum, similar to the category list on the achievement page. It would make this page much easier to parse.

4. Also on the settings page, maybe add a checkbox next to each section header (Subeta Commerce, Creative Corner, etc.) that can select or de-select all forums in that section? I just shut off everything under the last three sections, which is a lot of work right now. :x

5. An option to shut the pulse off completely might be nice, as others have mentioned.

I'm so excited that this feature is finally back! I know I'll be more active on the forums because of it. 👍

Either pushed another change, or it needed this long of a cache delay. But it is now working for me.

I am looking forward to this showing up for me! I have the settings page now. ^o^ I hope it helps me be more active. I'm usually not at all social, but I think the most recent post bits under each forum already help me see threads I normally would have missed. Fingers crossed this will be just as useful.

It's slowing my browser down so badly.

it's been years! omg i missed it so much and audibly gasped when i clicked over to the forum to day and saw it.

I do wish it was a bit.. shorter? I guess? I have to do a lot more scrolling to get down to the usual forums I browse. Its not a huge deal, and I am glad to have it back. This might just be another case of "Jen hates change, but likes change.".

I know its set to look/match the rest of the font size on the main forum page, so I guess its just a matter of getting used to it. Although if the UN weren't mentioned on the page feed, then you'd save some space.

I didn't realize how much I missed it until using the forums today. It finally feels like the forum is a little bit alive instead of dead and tumbleweeds everywhere.

I guess it's because I never had it but I'm not a big fan of it - it just seems intrusive? I would have liked something to uncheck everything, since I only visit two forums anyway (I would have unchecked everything but maybe it'll be nice for the two forums I do browse).

I don't have the forum pulse, only the top that says Most Recent Posts - Edit Settings. I have checked off the categories I want posts to show from in settings and I don't have the Custom CSS that hides it. So I don't know if I just don't have the feature or if it's something else.

Man that was gone so long I forgot about it. Am excited to see it. u

My options don't seem to be working properly. (i'm on chrome) I uncheck a box, update options, and the box is back -rechecked.
