Discount candy is the way to go. We don't get candy for trick-or-treaters on Halloween (thankfully we don't get any, because I'm very shy and it would be a nightmare for the dogs) but we try to get a small bag of candy each year right after Halloween, when everything goes on sale.

I got a cute stuffed animal for a friend for less than a dollar... hooray clearance sales!

I surprised when I went to my local Hot Topic and they were having multiple sales. Every item was buy one get one half off, and pins were buy 2 get 1 free or something like that.

My favorite deal I managed to get this year was a Monster High "ant-styling" head for 18$ on Walmart.com when everywhere else I saw it for 40-50$

I end up buying lots of crafts and supplies for my students to do around this time of year- and after Thanksgiving, Michael's has had many Christmas/winter items on sale for 50% off or more! Been a great way to get a bargain for many cute things to do with the kids. :)

Buying my family our favorite (Somewhat expensive normally) fragrences in those Christmassy sets for half off after the holidays

On Amazon prime day, I was able to get a power wheels jeep for 75 dollars and it's normally 250. :) Pays to shop in July for Christmas presents sometimes.

2 for 1 deals are great-- especially if it's on something that both friends adore.
