My birthday is on Christmas, so my favorite Christmas food is birthday cake
Shortbread cookies and Panetone and Chocotone. I need to go eat breakfast because all this talk of food is making me hungry.
suuuuch trash for gingerbread and (soft, homemade!) gingersnaps this time of year. and like--a sliding scale of ginger baked goods. ginger cookies with lemon filling? done, bring it. gingerbread with candied ginger? YES PLEASE. soft homemade gingersnaps rolled in sugar? hnnnngggg. I am not picky. just cover me in ginger.
HOLIDAY EVERYTHING. Pumpkin pie, peppermint, and the good food.

No holiday meal is complete without mashed potatoes and gravy.
Pumpkin pie.... Although I really like turkey with stuffing and gravy, too.
My grandmother has a wonderful recipe for a honey-maple glaze that makes a delicious holiday ham. Topped with pineapples and cherries.... yum.
I also adore cheesecake and Christmas cookies; we always make shortbread, ginger snaps, and thumbprint sugar cookies~

My husband makes the best home made rolls. yummm
