Turkey and apple pie

I am not old. I am gracefully aged
My favorite food is a classic, even tho we don't eat it almost anymore: Bûche de Noël. I love it, and not only because it's delicious but also because it's beautiful to see.
My favorite is homemade chocolate chip cookies!
Cranberry bread and fudge are two of my favorite treats ever - my mom used to make them every year. I'm getting her recipe this year for that bread for sure! I also love my father's Christmas breakfast he makes and cheeseburgers, haven't found one yet that's as good as his!
Definitely Christmas cookies!

my favourite is definitely latkes!! this year, we had cheddar cheese latkes and oh my gosh, they are so not traditional but with some applesauce, they were so good!!
It's not a holiday food per sé, but I absolutely love the Austrian Germknödel! I tried to make it myself at home but ooooh boy I failed miserably!

Hallacas! They are very much like a tamal; corn dough , with a tasty filling [it migth vary depending on the cook, but it mostly have pork, chicken, and lots of good smelling veggies, all cooked together to conform the 'guiso'], everything wrapped with smoked plantain leaves, which also adds it's special aroma.
So many to choose from that we make but Cornbread stuffing has to be my favorite ever!
Barszcz! And duck with thuringian potato dumplings like my grandma makes them.

Queso de Bola is a definite favorite, also my mom's spinach artichoke dip. And drinking hot chocolate is also nice.

So many things... Pumpkin Cheesecake: started making it in '87 or '88, it was probably on the cover of Gourmet magazine, so I've made it just about every year since then. My other favorites: hazelnut butter cookies with raspberry filling and gingerbread cookies.

I'm looked forward to some Ham with Dr. Pepper glaze. Its delicious.
I also love all the sweets I get to eat this time of year. No-Bake Cookies, Fudge and Buckeyes are my favorites.
We don't do a traditional dinner here, Christmas eve will be curry and then on the day a whole host of sandwich fillers and salads - noodle salad, potato salad, cold sausages, chicken bacon and mayo, egg mayo, cheese etc it gives the kids more freedom and we eat roast dinners quite often through the year anyway so this way we can indulge more in our favourite foods.
