Peppermint Bark. Ohmydearsweetgod, PEPPERMINT BARK. I have a serious obsession with it, borderline addiction. The day after Christmas, I go out to the shops and buy a bunch of it for half off, later on for more off. I usually get enough to last until Spring. You can keep it in the freezer, you know! Once I forgot about a bag in the bottom of my freezer, found it around June or July. Let me tell you, I'm "forgetting" a bag this year too, because icy peppermint bark in the middle of summer is EPIC.
My favorite holiday food is the yams. My mom taught me how to make them, and it's so easy! For anyone who doesn't know or is curious how I personally do it, We buy the big cans of sweet potatoes, drain them, and put them in a casserole dish. Then we put a lot of butter over it. Let it heat up until the butter melts nicely, then we put brown sugar over top it, and don't be light on that haha. Then we put marshmallows on top and let them melt and viola!
Twice baked potatoes, my fam only makes them on Christmas and i live for them

At our house we always made peanut butter cookies with pretty red glittery sugar on top. Yum. Good warmed with cold milk. :D

It's tradition for my family to have lasagna on Christmas instead of turkey or ham. Probably because we eat all of that on Thanksgiving.
My favorite dessert is Gingerbread Cookies and Chocolate covered peanut clusters. Mmmm
My favourite holiday food is a Dutch one: stewed sweet cooking pears with cinnamon. Delicious!
My absolute favorite holiday food I only get once a year either during Thanksgiving or Christmas is Hungarian Chicken Paprikash. It is the absolute BOMB every time my mom or another family member has made it. It's extremely filling lol.
Every Christmas morning my mom makes these yeast rolls with sausages in them. They are sooooo good. Breakfast casserole is also a must that morning. She also makes party mix and it's delicious. Add in pumpkin pie and egg nog and you got everything I need!

I love my sister-in-laws CHEESECAKE!!!
Any kind of holiday pie is my jam! Plus I love mashed potatoes, which aren't holiday specific, but I get to eat them a lot during the holidays XD
I love Kringlas. It's a norwegian cookie that my family has a recipe for and have been making for such a long time. Sadly Dad hasn't made them in quite a few years but they are so delicious. And for regular food I love our family Chili recipe. We call it reindeer chili because it'll probably propel Santa's reindeer via gas through the sky. haha.
