Now I'm realizing I should have also included name changes in my original question. :D While I'm not keen on a couple of the names of my pets anymore, I like it as a snapshot of where my mind was at the time.

I've gotten lazy though. While I will hit up Google Translate to help with a name, lately I've just been using names from Magic: The Gathering characters. :)

No, I do not have all of the ones I originally created back in the day. The only original pets I have left from 2006/2007 are Alexia, Leeona and Saija.

I don't even remember all of the pets I had, but I know I had great names and I still kick myself over one of them. He's on an active account and is a 2007 legacy pet.

I thought my answer would be no but after looking at my pets I realized that I have kept them all. I also remembered that .Pocky. was adopted and that is how he is older than my first pet HaneKitsune.

Since the changes that have aloud us to have more pets I have expanded to 20. Some I made recently that I plan to keep like Hatsuyume just one year old and others I adopt to zap or recolor and return to the adoption center like HARLEY QUINN.. Although I'm thinking of finding her a home instead of just returning her to the adoption center.

Nope. There were some I picked up early on from the pound that I was excited about the color or species when I was newer, but I didn't like their names that much, so I eventually got rid of them. It's cheaper just to get rid of a pet you haven't put into than renaming it and whatnot. I also had taken a pet from a friend and gave it back when I wasn't sure what to do with them anymore and they had an idea! I have my first pet still, who has undergone some name and species changes, and needs another name change because I still don't like her name (Avernales). Haha.

Oh gosh no. My pets have changed a great deal in my 11 years here. The only pets who have been around since my earliest days are probably Malina and.. maybe Yoda. Though both would have had different names at the start of things

I have kept all my pets since the day I've created each one of them. I could never bring myself to abandon any of my pets or give them away, but to each their own haha.

Griff and Shin have been through several species changes, and all my pets have gone through color changes. All their names may be a bit funny, but they've all grown on me, though I'm still considering possibly changing a couple once I've saved up enough lol.

The only pet I didn't create, but adopted, just around last year actually, is Zhang He, but he is now one of my beloved babies. I always thought I'd only stick with a family of five pets, but since adopting Zhang He, I have occasionally found myself casually looking around the Pet Adoption center to see if there's any new pet I could add to the family.

Oh goodness no, like the terrible person I am I dumped all my first pets in the adoption agency a long time ago. e__e To be fair, those pets were all based off of characters I hadn't thought of in years, and I didn't have any creative juice left for them, but for the sake of low IDs and nostalgia I'm kind of sad I didn't keep any of them around. I eventually recreated a couple of those pets so I could work on updated versions of their characters, lol. My boy Jack is a good example of this.

I do ... almost! I've kept 2 of them because they were my favourites. All the others are 'new'. I would defnitely never part with any of them.

As far as I can remember, I've never gotten rid of a pet! But I'm obviously spread thin as far as having time to make profiles and stories... That's why none of mine are even close to done, haha! But I love all my pets a lot (with one exception that I'm kinda meh on, and I might give it up if I ever find the right owner to do it justice), and I do think I'll at some point get around to finishing them all.

That said, my first few pets have had name changes. Pumice is my very first pet, but she had a really stupid name when I first made her. I am super attached to her, though! I doubt I could ever get rid of her.

No, though I do still have a lot I created myself (all my RGU pets, most of my Overwatch ones, my sdr2 pet, etc) and I'll always have the first pet I ever created (Ahriel) so I'm happy with that. There have been so many pets that either have gone through changes (name, species, gender, colour; total character revamps and whatnot) that, for me at least, it was just natural I grew out of some and wanted to give them to someone who would do more with them. It's also a nice feeling to clear out some space and then immediately fill it with something else aha now and again.
