Ok, so, they say that family doesn't end in blood, that you gather people around you that you choose to have in your life, and that you can have an extended family all around the world. Boy Do I.

The last 10 years have been hard, and there have been many ups and downs, and I've relied on the family that I have created for myself. This includes many RL people around me and an enormous amount of people online, with the majority of them being people I've met on this site.

I don't know what I would be like without them. They bring me such joy, and are always there when I need them. I love them all to pieces and will always be giving them (if only virtual) boobhugs

I reluctantly joined Subeta all those many years ago after the nagging by who I knew for many years on Neo. I kept telling her that I didn't want to join another pet site that Neo was enough of a pain as it was. She kept on bugging me and I finally relented. Haven't ever regretted it since.

I love this place. It's the kindest group of users I've ever met. I have never met one unkind person on here. How awesome is that?

My sister doesn't understand how I can care about people that are as she puts it, strangers behind a computer and could be anyone other than who they say... so I had to tell her that it's not any different than her friending people on FB that she doesn't know. Just because they are a friend of a friend of a friend doesn't mean they're okay.
