We were going shopping this morning for the last time before Chrstimas. Waiting because we want to have fruit and candy baskets made for a couple of families. Got a big wet snow fall. Something is still coming down. A combination of rain and snow I guess as it's above freezing. Think it might be quite slippery until they clear the snow and add sand. I'd say there is still lots of time except there is a storm warning for our area. Hope it misses us and we can get out tomorrow.

I have done like zero Christmas shopping. Ahhh! lol I hate the pressure of feeling like I need to give great gifts. I also need to get packing to go visit my sister in Florida for the week of Christmas. So much to do!

I've almost finished all my Christmas shopping. But on here I still have a few more gifts to get. It does get stressful the closer to Christmas it gets. Some how I missed a day of visiting melody so it looks like I probably won't get the achievements this year well darn. I'm not real sure how I missed it but oh well. Unless it's slow at updating the count.

Don't feel like you have to get great gifts it's the thought that counts and the fact that you took time to get them something. So try not to stress about it to much. Just do what you can and I'm sure who ever gets your gifts will appreciate them. I hope you have a nice visit with your sister.

I hope you stay safe if you go out in the snow. We haven't got any yet but they are calling for rain the next few days.

No christmas shopping here, we don't give gifts anymore. But on christmas day after work i am having dinner at my parents. Day off today for me after 5 early shift, was in bed early yesterday 9pm, woke up at 8am. No more sleep :) Been cleaning and washing, need to go to the supermarket later on.. And get most of the stuff i need and on friday the rest. Not going in the weekend will be to busy.

Got our shopping done today. It snowed all night and was pretty slippery but took your advice and stayed safe. Also a friend and I went and had coffee with our 92 year old friend who is sharper that either one of us is. She's such a positive person and so much fun to spend time with. Then went and saw our 94 year old friend who has dementia but is also always positive and never has anything to complain about. Such good examples for us!

I'm trying to find something good for my dad. For his birthday, my sister and I got him a little statue of his dog, Cody, that passed away in August. He is always hard to shop for because he says he wants nothing since anything he could need or want, he can buy for himself. He did love the Cody statue though.

I have finished shopping for everyone I am going to shop for. Money was tight this year. I will be posting pics when I get home from work tonight of my stister in law's gift. I did her last name in Paper Quilling with little bits of paper, it's really cute.

Mamaw Bonnie is home from the nursing home she had to stay in for a couple months due to her falling, I'm so happy to have her home. I missed her something awful! She is too, she hated that place. She has a hospital bed in the living room and we have it all decorated up for Christmas. :) She can't walk but we can still push her around in a wheelchair if she wants to get up and go somewhere. :)

Shari is back in the hospital with an infection. It's just one thing after another. I'm so sad :(

Hi all. Hope everyone is enjoying Luminaire and the holiday season. We are going to drive up and see family for Christmas (have to take all four dogs, including the little one that just got spayed so unfortunately she'll be relegated to the crate!). Just a few days, but we haven't seen anybody up there since last year so it will hopefully be nice. We finished our shopping and gift wrapping yesterday and I just need to finish my cheesecakes and we'll be set.

Got lots of snow and it's beautiful. Meeting a couple for lunch tomorrow. They are the first ones we met when we moved here 38 years ago. The two guys get together every week for coffee but us women don't see each other that often, so that will be nice to get caught up.

3 more days until christmas! Day off for me today. Need to get the last items from the supermarkt and then no more as it will be busy the next couple of days. Outfit for work ready (working with x-mas) and tonight going on a midwinter ghost tour trough town with spooky stories, etc.

They're doing the gift boxes for posting on the forum again this year. They also added in fairies. I must have bad luck because I posted 6 times so far and got only 1 fairy and no gift boxes. Have you guys had any luck?

boo, I would rather have the gift boxes than the fairies. They're so inexpensive.

i think I mostly got items that were 100k and less. I know some people had better luck and got cash shop or other good items.

I don't really like that we can only get fairies from the forum now. Just because I'm not very talkative as it is. I still need like 400 fairies to set free. It was great getting them from doing quests I prefer that. But oh well I'll try to most some here and there.

Yeah, I'm not very talkative on the forum either. I basically post here and that's it. I posted on the 6 suggested forum threads from the news post and nothing.

Yes, I posted on those too and a couple of others I found on the forums but no box.

I'm hoping they'll do the Free Shop again this year. I've gotten some nice CSC and high end items from there (although I think it would be better to leave out or make rarer the Luminaire items as I think it lowers their market value too much). I think I'll skip the forum posting for the gift boxes unless I end up getting one from here. I'm not really focusing on the fairy release achievement either...I just frag them all for crystals lol.
