The favourite place in my city is my house! I'm happiest here. ( oh good, I guessed the missing word might be place so I answered based on that :))

Q: Would you rather have a golden voice or a silver tongue?

A: Silver tongue. It would be advantageous to be a more persuasive speaker (I'm awkward as hell in real life so yeah lol).

Q: Would you rather be able to teleport anywhere instantly or be able to time travel?

Time travel is interesting, but teleporting would be ever so useful! LOL especially when its -40 out, or +40 for that matter. And I could keep playing subeta until, like 5 minutes before doctor's appts! Yep teleporting! No more traffic jams!

Q: Are you excited about the imminent arrival of Survival/Pandemic?????

It's a tough choice, isn't it? I think I'd go with teleportation too...I did say anywhere so I'd go check out other planets and stuff lol.

A: I was indeed beginning to get a little impatient, as I knew it would be starting yesterday but the wait was cutting into my sleep. It's finally here though, yay! Now I'm excited to see how the strains turn out.

Q: Would you actually prefer to become a zombie after death in real life, rather than simply ceasing to exist?

I'd rather simply cease to exist. But it really depends - does the zombie brain have any recollection of who it used to be? If so, definitely don't want to be one. But if its just a rotting husk with nothing of "me" in it, doesn't really matter, once I'm dead I don't care what happens to my body.

Q: What is the most annoying habit someone can have?

Using the dishes but not washing not even a single one :')

Q: Whats your favorite zombie skin?

I'm quite fond of my boobitis skin, I had it for so many years!

Q: Do you think a real zombie apocalypse is possible?

A: Depends on how you define zombies, but I think sort of...yes (although not very likely). There is already a precedent for parasites that can alter their hosts' behavior, such as the Cordyceps fungus, parasitoid wasp and Toxoplasma gondii. I suppose it could be possible for one of these or a similar parasite to mutate into a form that would spread easily among humans and turn them into something zombie-like. I expect these "zombies" would have pretty limited lifespans though...probably only long enough to pass on the infection. So I doubt they'd form unstoppable shambling hordes in the streets or cute little underground communities. :P

Q: What would you want to be famous for? (Let's suppose "not becoming famous" isn't an option.)

Famous singer or artist. Two talents I wish I had. :P

Q: Whats your favorite zombie virus from this year?

I can't say for sure until the final stage, but I'm rather liking Muerte Fuerte aka Fortitude. I'm totally loving the intermediate stages for mine, but I don't think the final zombie is going to be as different as Fortitude.

Q: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?

A: Hm, LOTS of things, because I'm a firm believer in trying everything once. But to answer this question, I think I'll go with volunteering some time in support of a cause you care about (or donating if that's not possible). Not because I think anyone should feel obligated to do so; it just feels nice and is a relatively easy way to contribute something positive to the world, so why not?

Q: What is something you were really excited about that didn't live up to your expectations?

movies in general. It all started so many years ago with crocodile dundee - they ruined the movie by using the best line in the whole film in the commercial. That's when I started getting militant about spoilers. But not just spoilers themselves, any hype about a movie because the movie is never as good as the hype (except for Lord of the Rings). The follow-up, The Hobbit, was the most recent movie that didn't live up to expectations.

Q: What's the next virus you're planning to get infected with?

Ah I hate when they put all the best parts in the trailer. On a related note, if it's based on a book, the book is almost always better. Although I usually enjoy the movie too.

A: I just started Faceworm. After this, I'm not sure yet...maybe a vial (the one with the red nodules or the ant one). I want all the skins eventually.

Q: If you opened a business, what kind of business would it be?

Point taken. Well, expect me there anyway. :P

A: Umm, I dunno. I'm not much of an entrepreneur; I've already been involved in starting a screenprinting business but it didn't really work out. Maybe a rock/gem/fossil shop. Not the kind in the mall with the incense and new age stuff...one of those dusty, out of the way ones that only geology nerds and old prospectors know about. lol Only problem is...I don't know how many rocks I'd need to have in stock before I was willing to part with any of them.

Q: If your life was a TV show, what would your theme song be?

Nothing came to mind. So I took some quizzes (you can take a quiz for anything! Ain't the internet wonderful?) Got a couple of responses that just weren't me at all. Then I got "Soak Up the Sun" Sheryl Crow. Its not perfect, but its not bad either.

Q What’s the coolest thing scientists could uncover while searching the ocean?

A: Man, I dunno, such amazing things have already been discovered in the ocean and I'm sure there will be many more fascinating discoveries (extremophiles are super exciting because they make me more optimistic about the presence of extraterrestrial life). But I guess aside from new and interesting Earth-based life forms, something really crazy cool would be if they found a crashed alien spacecraft at the bottom of the ocean.

Wait, is this limited to an Earth ocean? Because any life at all found in an ocean on, say, Europa, would be the coolest thing ever.

Basically, my answer is aliens. I want to find aliens. lol

Q: What is your most treasured possession?

LOL I want to find aliens too!

These days it would have to be my computer. So prosaic but, really mementos don't hold the same meaning they used to. I don't collect things anymore and in letting go of the need to collect, I've also let go of a lot of what those things used to mean to me. I'd be lost without my computer - not just for fun, but for friendship and companionship and just plain old human contact.
