At the top of the battle dialogue it will say, "You scored a critical hit, doubling your damage!" or "Your opponent scored a critical hit, doubling their damage!"

There are two types of critical hits you can land, one based on your pet's speed (most often for having a speed greater than your opponent) and another from your critical strike tear crystal(s) if you have any equipped. Sometimes both types happen at the same and you get a double critical hit. The text won't display in the box twice, but you can tell because your damage was 4x higher than it should have been.

Congrats on the achievement! Everyone goes at their own pace. It took me 9 years to get my pet to T13. It was a long time before I got serious about battling.

Yep, the achievement awarded just fine! Appeared on the 10 win results page. I had to open a ticket some time ago for the Cursed Effigy achievement not going through, but this one was fine. Earlier this week, I also got the Saggi and Meatslab (x2) achievements without issue.

So I think they've solved any backend stuff that was fighting the battle achievements.

(Holy crap, over a decade on this site...)

(And I still don't have the super pet achievement. She only has 842 levels, which is on par with the rest of the stats.)

It's okay, its not how fast but the journey to get there! I think when I switched from Neopets to here, I was half serious about training up one pet, but it takes time and patience. I think what helps the most is doing BQs everyday.

He gave even my T12 a run for his money with health that high....stupid squirrel. Not hard at T12 with the right weapons, but still very annoying -.-‘

Yeah, everyone goes at their own pace. I don't think I started training my pet until a couple of years after I joined, and even then I didn't really get more serious about it until like two or three-ish years ago.

Considering that, I guess I've made quite a bit of progress in the past couple of years. Yay!

I'm still working on getting to 50 as well, probably won't happen for a while. ;~;

50 wins for GE will just have to wait. A very long time. With my current stats and weapons, 10 was challenging. I mean, you had the battles where he'd steal your core weapons. And the ones where you never managed to get a turn where he was frozen and you weren't. And then the handful where he would heal up to max when you were hitting the final blow. Or the others where he'd one shot you when you have full health and are hitting the final blow (screw you, GE, that's my only tie.)

As thrilled as I am to get a PS scroll (finally)... Just no. I'm good with 10.
