and yeah, I really like that way of phrasing, a mass-produced battle bot.
something similar I think could be said of those roboraptors from a few years ago. It's cool looking, they were everywhere way back when, and it has that kinda... not cute, but a sort of charm to them, a curiosity. but they have sharp claws, a mouth full of sharp TEETH, even, and the spikes and tail both come to pretty significant points for a kids toy.
