So, why robo gifs? They&;re fun and all, but they show something about bot design.
Note that these robots are (mostly) becoming smooth and soft and friendly.

This guy? It&;s large, matte black, and all sorts of angry angles. That guy&;s designed for grunt work and war. You don&;t have to like it, it has a job.

The last two in this post? They&;re designed to be <del>mass appealing.</del> You could work with them, you may even want to work with them! Just look how bright and cute! So non-threatening!

The thing about cadogre was that they used to fall in between. They were remotely rounded, but still with an edge that comes from being mass produced battle bots that one could have the misfortune to purchase, if they&;re in the right place at the right time.

TL;DR? Look at all these gifs! Still don&;t want too smooth/friendly cadogres! :D
BIG DOG! I was trying to remember what their name was but it's been so long...

and yeah, I really like that way of phrasing, a mass-produced battle bot. something similar I think could be said of those roboraptors from a few years ago. It's cool looking, they were everywhere way back when, and it has that kinda... not cute, but a sort of charm to them, a curiosity. but they have sharp claws, a mouth full of sharp TEETH, even, and the spikes and tail both come to pretty significant points for a kids toy.

edit: !!!! hold up, I just found a new product, the RoboReptile, which shows the same as above, only look at those claws!
