Winter is my favorite. I like walking in the snow under Christmas lights and hearing it crunch. Also Christmas movies and caroling.

I love, love, LOVE the smell of snow

Getting to drink hot things! I love hot chocolate and tea and coffee, but I usually have those things cold when it's warmer out. Now I can have them piping hot!

The most fun so far is knowing where to get trunks and scrapped trees. Most people spend on one bundle what gets me a truckload. Sometimes neighbors give me locations where others have fallen trees, or piles of excesses. I live near a landfill, so even better when I spot landscapers.

I know people hate colder weather but I LOVE IT. O I live for dressing up in sweaters and cardis haha. X)

I also like excuses for more hot chocolate. Used to be way more festive until a personal event kind of killed xmas and I'm still getting over it so I'm less into listening festive music nowadays. Maybe I'll be more festive this year. It was nice to actually care about stuff like gingerbread cookies, peppermint candy sticks, and the xmas tree lol.

This year I'm going to the theatre for a festive play so hopefully that will kick-start me into caring about the season.

I just love winter, I don't know why. I love being able to dress in big sweaters and comfy pants. I love seeing the snow cover everything because it looks so beautiful. I also love the smell of real christmas trees. Not to mention that my favorite holiday is christmas and that is in winter. I just love winter more than any other season (even though I get really cold all the time).

I live in a very moderate and evergreen climate and rarely get to see snow or change in trees, so when I do get to experience it, it becomes the highlight of my year. I enjoy the lights, seeing streets lit up with colors. In general, I just love how magical it looks? Winter fashion looks so cozy and something about the time of year feels nostalgic in a way. Oh, also, I sang in choir for ~12 years so Christmas hymns and music are actually my favorite genre if you could consider it one haha.

This week I'm in a pantomime with my theatre group, which I tend to think of as the "start" of my winter. :D

We're also rehearsing almost non-stop for the school play at work.

In a couple of weeks I'm going carol singing with my friends to raise money for charity. Then when we've finished we all go into the warmth for mulled wine and jacket potatoes with cheese!

Shortly after that I'll go and see my mum in her choir's carol concert.

Meanwhile at work the school play is the same week.

... hmm, apparently most of my favourite things about winter involve theatre. No surprise there for anyone who knows me. XD

In terms of favourite things that aren't to do with performing in front of people, I love snuggling up in fluffy clothes, drinking tea and hot chocolate and enjoying how warm the mug is in my hands, and hugging my guinea pigs while trying to keep them warm.

It's photogenic and I love it.

Winter is also cool, and I appreciate the cooler temperatures more than warmer ones.

Only thing I love about this season is the shorter days. I like the nighttime far more. I think better when it's nighttime. Oddly enough, I get more done. If I have the will to get things done that is.

EVERYTHING. Winter is the best season. What I love the most is walks in the forest when it's all snowy and ice cold, literally bone freezing cold. Or waking up to the most beautiful sunrises there are, when the sky is all pastel pink and orange. And an early dusk as well, which makes working at the PC much easier because daylight + monitor brightness hurts my eyes a lot. Winter is just the best.....

I like the feeling in the air of Autumn and Winter, and the fact that you can actually go out more. Summer is nice, but there have been times when I haven't been able to stay out for long because of the heat. I also get hot from walking around a lot and the natural heat doesn't help.

I just find winter so beautiful. The first snowfall always gets me so excited. And I feel like it's also just a nice change in routine. Skating and hot chocolate = a great day <3

I love getting to use my cozy comforters on my bed again! Snuggling in them with my kittycats is the best!

I live in a ski town, so lots of tourists. The small town is decorated beautifully. But the thing I like best is when a new snow fall sparkles. It looks like it's been sprinkled with diamonds.

I think everything has been said, but for me, being cozy with blankets, sweaters, and hot tea or hot chocolate. I get bad allergies during the spring and summer, so they're always meh seasons for me.

Winters get cold and windy where I am though, so I definitely do find myself wishing it were warmer some days!
