A new-style Nintendo 2DS XL!
(The Poke Ball edition, to be exact.)
I literally about punched my beau when he came into the apartment and handed it to me, I tried to make him take it back.
I mean, I love it! (And desperately needed a new 3DS system.) But, like, oh man, I'm always so perpetually stressed about money, and, like, this is so extraneous, and I feel terrible accepting it when technically my old system still does the job (even if my shoulder buttons are finicky and my touch screen is halfway to impossible to use), and just, ahhh, I AM BAD AT ACCEPTING GIFTS AND WILL PROBABLY NEVER BE GOOD AT ACCEPTING THEM.
(Case in point, I tried to fight my mom over a pair of pajamas that, let's be honest, I actually do need, but didn't want her to spend money on for me, even if they were on sale...)
