The idea is to send them after the thread has been closed to new entrants, on the 17th, but it's not the end of the world if you send them early. :)
Cool. I wanted to make sure. Thanks!

You're welcome!

Ok, it is time to gift (if you haven't already)! Please let me know when you receive your birthday party and I will note it on the first page. :)
I've sent my presents (to you - I hope you enjoy them) and I've received my themed presents as well. :D
yea I've sent them early xD received a thank you message from Morito that day 👍
Have you received your gifts?
Ok, I know Julie was waiting until today to gift, so you'll get them soon. You can count on her. :)
Received my gifts from Guava. Sent my gifts just now. Sorry for being late.

You aren't late, no worries!
I hope everybody had fun! Thank you for helping me celebrate my upcoming birthday. :)
So I have a question for everyone in this thread and my friends - does anyone have ideas for how a single mom that does not live near her family can spend her birthday? I have friends here of course, but I don't think any of them know when my birthday is. And I broke up with my boyfriend about a month ago, so it's just my 16 year old, 3 year old and me.
I think a spa sounds relaxing for you, as long as your comfortable with your 16yr old babysitting your 3yr old it would be nice to have a pamper day and i hear they are always a great place to also meet other stressed moms that you can relate with, however my other option is also maybe having a bunch of us on beta have a group chat for the night and hang out with you and play subeta and just support eachother!
Oo! Those both sound fun! It's on a Wednesday, so maybe I can do something like the spa the weekend before (I'm thinking a trip to the hot springs might fit the bill) and then chatting with you guys the night of could be fun!
A day at a park and maybe a picnic if it is a nice day is always fun. Something that can be entertaining for your 3 year old. A good book to get for your 16 year old and yourself at the library and just have a day relaxing and reading.

Those are great ideas, too! It's a little too cold for park days now, but we spend a lot of the time at the park in the summer. My daughter and I have been talking about reading The Hobbit/LoTR together.
