My favorite book is Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief (and really all the books in that series). I absolutely love Greek Mythology, and it's a really fun take on all the myths.

Sorry everyone for the slow reply but I hope you liked your gifts!

That is such a gorgeous quote. I'll definitely hang on to that one, thank you.

Murakami is one of my favourite authors so I thoroughly approve of your choice. ;)

That's a great way to get in to Greek mythology which is such a broad and interesting topic. Thank you!

No worries, not too late! My best friend is always raving about Terry Pratchett so I really need to read more of his stuff. Enjoy your gift!

That's been on my 'to read' list forever. Enjoy!

[small] It's so hard to pick a favourite book, there are so many out there that are just wonderful ^~^"

  • maybe Erikson's Malazan series, Tchaikovsky's Shadows of the Apt or Jordan's Wheel of Time (that come to mind first and foremost here).

That's true! I find it had to choose just one myself. I could maybe narrow it down to 3/4 but it depends on my mood and how much of a hold nostalgia has on me, haha.

Your gift has been sent. :)

hope I'm not too late but how on earth for this book lover to pick a favorite!?! Maybe top three? For nostalgia it would have to be kid classics like Little House on the Prairie or Little Women...maybe even the Prydain books by Lloyd Alexander. For fantasy LOTR hands-down, but also Harry Potter and the Ranger Apprentice series. I also love western historical romance but couldn't begin to pick a favorite...usually whatever I'm currently reading lol.

Thank you for doing this and for giving a chance to babble about books! Happy Morostide!!

, I have always wondered what my favorite book was. I am not sure that I have one. I currently am rereading the Twilight series for fun, though it is by no means my favorite book. As for quote, I tend to quote a lot of things, but my favorite is probably from the musical Into the Woods: "You are not alone. Believe me, no one is alone."

The Man Without a Face by Isabelle Holland

It's a short story that's stuck with me since High School. Looking it up to find the author, turns out it was even made into a movie in 1993. I'll have to check it out!

Thank you so much for the 'Hazel Jelled Ruffled Slip!'

Yeah I keep meaning to read Terry Pratchett's Discworld series but there are just so many books - I keep putting it off and reading other things. Good Omens is a really great book (and only just the one book so not that big of a commitment if you need/want to read other things too lol).

Happy Morostide;">! I hope you have a great Morostide!
