I ended up having a small get-together with some friends. I decided to dress up as a witch. We didn't get any trick-or-treaters this year. I think we usually only get a couple of trick-or-treaters each year.

Now that it's November, the year is going to go by even faster. It seems like stores aren't even recognizing Thanksgiving as the next holiday. Every store I've gone to lately is only selling Christmas and Hanukkah decor and crafts.

I appreciate Thanksgiving more now too. I'm planning my first Friendsgiving this year. I've been wanting to do one for years but I'm never home for Thanksgiving and my professors loved having midterms and having essays/presentations due after Thanksgiving break.
