I used a solid 10-20 million at the MB yesterday, so I think having the Freyalise shop in the MB once a year not only gives everyone a better chance to get the higher rarity items but it sucks some of the sP out of the system too.

That said, I was always a huge fan of the holiday shop. It gave me something to do onsite, it was fresh books, and pretty foods, and all that fun stuff. Plus I wasted a ton of sP at the MB trying to get all the goods.

Also I do like the idea of some other event that involves restocking. My first thought was the notorious Black Friday. I MEAN WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE MORE VIOLENT THAN PIRATES? Black Friday. I've always been kinda merf that black friday is basically exclusive to cash shop sales (which don't get me wrong, in the past I've definitely taken advantage of and I'm not saying the site doesn't need to make the monies or anything). Like there's a vast wide subeta world out there how is it ONLY the cash shop seems to be aware of this crazy black friday sale?!

I think it'd be really interesting to have something kinda like the Free Shop, only restocking for sP. It could be a mix of like black friday exclusive items (idk, all those recolors of stuff people always beg for?) and maybe those old ass holiday shop items that only sometimes come from quest givers (looking at you, old high rarity foods that're still like 40m)/random items that should probably eventually find their way back into circulation somehow. Or hell, even main shops get their stock of expensive retired items from the holiday shop of old.

I'ma go on the record and just say I've never begged for black friday books or like, book recolors but if this became a thing I'd like to make a formal statement and beg for such things ok.

Also if it came to subeta, it should formally be renamed to one of our darker pet colors Friday (BLACKLIGHT? Bloodred... Nightmare... they're all very suiting, depending on if you wanna go the obvious route, the shopper's opinion, or the poor poor souls who have to actually work hahaha).

because then we are on the other side of the spectrum, where everything is the same (this time restocking instead of special shops). Ideally we need to have some of both. With special shops, we get to play with how to get those special currencies out. Morostide and fireside are neither restocking or special shop, which is a nice change. I like the idea of incorporating restocking for something like Black Friday or some sort of lil event.

I don&;t want another Holiday Shop situation where that&;s literally all holidays were. We&;ve moved sort of to the other end of the spectrum, where most of our shops are just buy with your currency from given holiday, so I&;d like to get sort of to the middle where there&;s a nice variety. I like that Morostide you have to go ToT/run around the pumpkin patch to get the items you want or restock for the pirate loot. Gotta get more cool things, which I think in the future we can play with for mini events or add-ons to holidays.
I would love to see something like this. Mix things up a little, have some variety in where or how you get event items. Add a little extra personality to the different holidays. I really enjoy Keelhauliday even when I can't restock all the books I want. Winding up with duplicates and needing other things results in trading items or looking out for that special item for a friend. Users interact in ways that aren't needed if you can just get an unlimited amount of what you'd like at an event shop. Plus it's just such a fun holiday and I always really love all the great new pirate items that show up. I also like trick or treat together with Pumpkin Patch (although I admit that I am always relieved each year when I finally find that special minion :-) ). And one of my favorite holidays ever was the Vesnali where somehow a bunch of us wound up having a friendly informal competition to see who could do the most flower bombing. We all had a wonderful time just trying to outdo each other sending flowers, and then trying to be the last one to send as the holiday wore down. It wasn't even about the Vesnali coins, it was just a delightful spontaneous interaction - sending flowers and comments back and forth. Having differing item distributions and mini-plots would encourage that sort of user interaction to happen more often.

I really like this idea. Don't make the items too expensive, though. People are likely to spend a lot more sP at 5K a time than 50K a time.

A week of like "Black Friday" where we RS at some crazy shop would be awesome, but that shop would also need a MB day for the non-RSers.

I'm not too keen on bringing back the Holiday Shop (as it was) because it was taken away for a reason.. :P Surely we're just reminiscing with our rose-tinted glasses on.

The current system is fine, I enjoy having some old retired stuff from the events (such as Luminaire) go out through quests, maybe newer items could also get added via quests during those specific events.

I think that putting rarities higher than 80 in a limited time shop should be considered cruel and unusual punishment :P and Anabelle deserves a luxury spa week after dealing with hundreds of crazy restockers!

Freyalise Trading Co. Restocked 15 minutes ago Then came 7 different items at very low quantity (2-4).

That's not funny.

I don't want it to be an event shop, but more manageable. Look at the regular shops, which always hold the same items with every restock, were even high rarity items stock up to 9.
