I would like to apply for Magdala. I am in love with the name! And with the idea of using 'Mags' as a nickname. I would morph her into a yaherra. I've wanted one since they were only an experiment and now I can finally get one. I think Magdala would be a very fitting name. I'm not sure which color - I'd have to decide 100% on the character before I choose.
I am really excited about Magdala because I have this idea I've been wanting to do. I've really no idea where it came from or why I'm obsessing so over it, but I am and I can't wait to write it. Magdala, if I am so lucky as to be chosen to adopt her, will be a birdkeeper/falconer at a royal palace. She came from humble beginnings. Her mother died when she was born, which in this kingdom made her a cursed child. The strange markings on her tailfeathers marked her as such as well. Such a child would normally be sent to far-off relatives for a life of drudgery. However, the queen saw her one day as a child in the market and noticed how pretty the girl was and how hard she worked for her aunt and uncle, even though they scorned her so. She took pity on the motherless child and brought her to the palace, orignally having her work in the laundry and then moving her up to a lady's maid for the queen herself. But at the age of 18, when it was found out she had an affinity for feathered creatures, she was given her current position. She cares for the birds of the palace and the falcons the royals hunt with. Birds are much revered in this kingdom, so her position is an important one, and she is the youngest to ever hold it. This is just a blurb, but if you'd like the whole story, let me know and I will try to write it now.

Hello! I'd like to apply for Tarot. I absolutely love the name. Divination is a hobby of mine, tarot cards being my favorite. I own quite a few decks. I have been stalking this name for a while now, I am ashamed to admit.
Tarot would join the Oracles. The Oracles are Candria, Pelessaria. I will more than likely change his species, gender, and color, I'm just not sure to what yet....possibly a reborn keeto or a storm cadogre. The three of them would become the Fates(mythology is another huge hobby of mine).
All of my pets, with the exception of Tish_( she is a tribute to my recently deceased mother) are part of a huge elaborate story that lives mainly in my head. Eventually all of my pets will have lookups with their part of the story on it. I would also like to add some art. Another goal is to raise all of my pets stats to 500.

Application for Damned
My app for Damned will be relatively short... ish. I'm interested in their name more than anything, and I would want to do a name swap with my pet Woundless, since the word would fit her better. The rundown of her character is that she is (was?) once an unembodied wendigo. She ends up being bound to the corpse of a dead griffin a couple thousand years ago. This doesn't really stop her from eating everything in sight, just slows her down a bit. As time goes on, she gradually mellows out.
Later on, she manages to piss off a demon who casts yet another curse on her. This time around, her actions and emotions are literally controlled by music. Certain songs can make her happy, drowzy, etc., right down to being flat out dangerous and destructive. The demon who cursed her has a twisted sense of humor; there is one very specific song that could cure her of everything, and one song out there that will end her life for good. She's determined to figure out how to lift at least the music-related curse, but is equally as hesitant for obvious reasons. Until she figures something out, she's cursed to being both a puppet for the demon who cursed her, while stimontaniously fleeing from a demon hunter who's trying to kill her.
A good portion of her writing is already done and up on her profile. When I get more time later on, I'll put a more customized profile together for her opposed to using one of my templates. Unfortunately most of my profiles are non-existant at the moment, thanks to the photobucket fiasco. Below are examples of my pets who currently have profiles and are ready for viewing!

Along with writing, I code my own profiles and usually draw my own art as well. TC's are another favorite thing to work on, with my favorite pet treasure being Eisen's profile. (She will get a new profile someday.) This griffin is the one who's trying to kill her too.
At the moment, I unfortunately don't have enough space on my account to adopt Damned. However, if I'm chosen as their new owner, I would be more than happy to fund the name change for both pets. If this is unappealing I completely understand.

Before I moved out of my parents house, I weekly had dreams about the house being on fire. I would wake up, being completely stiff and feeling watched. I really feared to go to sleep and created a sleeping disorder. I'd like to do something with this. I'd like to write about witches who got burned at the very spot during the witch hunts in the Middle Ages. Now, in current life, The witches are trying to come back through dreams, taking over the bodies of young girls who live around those very spots.

Damned
I've had this idea for a bit, and Damned would pair nicely with Tyrannical and Navarasa; for their story I was thinking of making him the blood knight general, whose only source of joy is being on the battlefield and fighting. Problem is, he can't die by conventional means, so he's basically lost all sense of fear/regret for potentially losing his life. So of course, Damned is fitting since he'd be traditionally damned due to his brutality and is now cursed; he can no longer enjoy his savagery. As for finished pets, I have Alymere (Spotlight Winner) and Patisserie and Tyrannical, though his story needs some more fleshing out.
If Damned is already claimed/chose for someone else, this idea would also work for Disgrace.
I'm very interested in adopting Tarot. I don't have a fully fleshed out idea yet, but I'm thinking that I would like to write a backstory about a gypsy using tarot cards and predicting the death of someone she loves, then trying to change their future in order to save them.
Current Story Progress - Rough Draft
Kat shuffled her tarot cards and began to lay down her spread. Each card she laid seemed to bring worse fortune. She added additional cards to her spread for more clarification. Still the cards seemed to show nothing but sorrow. Kat shrugged and began to put the cards away. Perhaps she just wasn’t skilled enough yet and wasn’t reading them correctly. She decided to have her mother do a reading later.
These cards had been passed down to her from generations of her ancestors. They were powerful, imbued with the energy of her gypsy ancestors. Her mother used to say that the cards would occasionally show her visions when she used them. Kat had yet to experience anything to that extent, but even she could detect that these cards were more than what they seemed. Her mother said that the cards probably didn’t trust her yet since she has only been their master for a few months.
As Kat reaches up to return the tarot cards to their place on the bookshelf, she suddenly doubles over in pain, scattering the cards on the ground. She grips a shelf as she regains her bearings. She notices that all of the cards had landed facedown except one: Death.
I'm going to be commissioning some new profiles and some pet overlays soon, but here are some examples of my existing pets. I'm in the middle of a total overhaul on a lot of my pets.

For tarot I'd have a witch theme I've been dying to get out. I'm also really invested in rituals and fortellings of all sorts. So the name speaks volumes to me. I'd probs my give them a new overlay and a really cool background with a killer demon partner story. I draw all my overlays and bags! I can flesh it out more with ya if your interested to hear! But it would have to be in smail haha. Very very nice names tho!
EDIT: Some finished pets and what their profile would look like is Holland, and impmon! Most of my pets are undergoing cha he so some have backgrounds and some have my overlays! It's a massive revamp ahha. Sorry if it pings you twice ahhh!
I'll swap you Sanctification and Sabotage for Hellfire and Penance :P Real talk tho, I am actually interested in both of them and their stories would twine together since I already have a solid story idea for both since I'd just be swapping my two out for them, I just need to put it down into writing. (I was gonna app for Priest instead of Penance actually but since Saint wants him back if you do let him go, then I won't get in the way of that).

I'm very interested in Risen for his name. I've been holding off getting a Nightmare Serpenth, because I haven't been successful with finding/adopting a fitting pet respectively name to swap. I have a fairly sinister creature in mind, have also already started collecting TC items for him.
All my pets are battlers. I took back to training even the 5 small ones, once tiers were introduced and adopted 4 freshies a couple of months ago.
- I'm back to apply! I've decided to apply only for Risen for now. I love Tarot, but don't have anything solid in mind yet.
Risen would have a species/color change, most likely to Graveyard. Maybe a Neela. I'd probably have Risen as a female. She'd be based on the Risen from Guild Wars 2. The Risen are basically undead minions of the elder dragon Zhaitan. In case you're not familiar with the game, there was this area called Orr that was a huge, grand area which also housed the city of the gods, Arah. Rather than losing a war, the vizier of the region went a bit mad and basically sank the entire region into the ocean. The enemy died, yes, but so did all of the inhabitants. This made it the perfect place for Zhaitan to take over. He pulled Orr back to the surface and brought back all of the inhabitants as undead. Really, the whole area is composed of three zones and a dungeon and all of them are a pain in the rump... but very rich in lore.
In Risen's case, she would be based on one of the inhabitants. See, a body can be corrupted into a risen monster, but the spirit is not (there's another area of the game which shows this; one ghost was particularly disgruntled over seeing her body shambling about). Her spirit is still present, keeping an eye on her body to ensure it doesn't wander off a cliff or something. Mostly, the Risen of Orr basically go about their former daily lives (Risen farmers, for example, can be seen endlessly tilling soil despite than nothing grows) until something living meanders past. She's tried to ensure her body doesn't try to kill anyone (usually pirates that show up). Eventually, though, the Pact (again, if you don't know the game, this is an alliance of the three main orders in the game you can join. They go to retake Orr and kill Zhaitan) shows up. She despises Zhaitan for corrupting everyone. Already they were tormented and now more than ever they cannot rest in peace. If the Pact was to kill Zhaitan... maybe, just maybe, she and the rest of her former Orrian allies could finally rest. She finally stops following her body in favor of seeking out the Pact in hopes she can aid them with her knowledge of the area... and hopefully lead them to defeating Zhaitan himself.
I'm super excited for this pet, so I hope you'll consider me! I primarily focus on TCs (this character would have various ghostly or undead type items as well as anything underwater related in addition to a lot of shiny things. Orr was pretty extravagant in its day). I don't really have any coding knowledge, sadly. The pets I'm most proud of are Rourke, Baskets, and Des.
specter
I can go two ways with Specter.
First being some sort of a spooky idea, in which I would choose to make them a Nightmare Yaherra once it comes out, since I am lusting for one soon. I don't have many ideas for them in this aspect, besides making a themed TC with loads of trinkets that would be holding Specter back from moving on to the next life, and other spooky items.
The second idea, I believe would be more plausible and solid for me, as I am a fan pet fiend. If you've ever been a fan of the Ape Escape series, like I have, you'd know the main antagonist, Specter, the ultra genius, evil monkey. I've looked up the name Specter numerous times in hopes he'd one day be available so I could make this fan pet. I am so ecstatic that you have him up for possible adoption! I actually, back in elementary school around the time when Ape Escape 1 came out, had this weird crush on Specter the monkey. I've always had a thing for the "mischievous" characters in shows or games who also have platinum hair and red eyes xD I'd fill his TC with items that I can find throughout all 3 main games and possibly from Pumped and Primed.
Examples of my TC-building skills can be found with SASUKE and KABUKI. I've spent a ton on their TCs and I rewatched all of Naruto once I adopted Sasuke just so I could add items to his TC as I saw them in the anime. So most items in Sasuke's TC are in order of which they occurred in the anime, but organized into categories. I plan to go a similar rout when finding things to add to Specter's TC. My ape Escape 1 has been missing, but I have 2-3 and Pumped and Primed. I started replaying them yesterday to get some refreshed inspiration for Specter before I decided to apply for him. I'll eventually attempt my own rendition of an overlay for him, or I'll buy one, but I definitely think he needs one. Thank you for the opportunity!

I am applying for Skull because of the name. If you browse my pets, I have quite a few "dark" words. Dark, spooky, gory things bring me joy. I can never have enough scary-looking pets as well and most likely would turn Skull into a Nightmare Yaherra once they come out since my idea for Specter is most definitely gonna be a fan-pet.
Skull's TC idea is very straightforward at this point. I'll fill it with bones, skulls, and corpses, and the occasional minion which has an exposed skull.
I'm hovering over this idea in which Skull will use the eyes on its tail feathers to capture creatures in a mental state they cannot escape, and it causes the victim to decay, while still alive, in only a matter of seconds, until they die and nothing but bones are left. The skeletons are then collected and kept in a very large pile of bones from other unfortunate souls. The pile not only acts as a display for Skull's collection, it is also the base for a nest, to lay its eggs and bring more of its kind into the world.
I was never too good at stories, so I usually just make a personality and a concept of a story for my pets. I don't always write it down on their profiles, but it usually all stays in my head and I can keep those ideas alive and share them if someone asks (:

Hey there!! I'm back and I have just not been able to stop thinking about Specter TToTT I also feel strongly about Skull, so I might come back and edit an app in for them if that's okay, but Specter is significant to me for reasons that I'll detail a bit in my app and thus that's the one I'm really hoping to have a chance at!
Specter
So I'll just start with the reason Specter is significant to me! I should start by saying that once upon a time, when I was just a babby Key, I used to roleplay. I no longer RP, namely because I don't have any RP partners anymore! What I do, however, is develop OCs with my friend and partner, Lock, and then I occasionally write scenes for our OCs on my own for him to read. That's the closest I get to still RPing :'D But it's just a ton of fun, and as we develop these characters together, there's a strong sense of ownership across all of our characters for both of us. I'm explaining this so it might make more sense when I say that Lock has a character named Specter, and with his permission I'd like to apply to own Specter so he can exist on subeta as that character (or at least something very similar)!
Okay, now a little about his character! He started out as a video game avatar, and that still plays a little part in his backstory. Specter exists in a world where death is temporary, and even the most brutal undoing can be undone; where monsters and non-monsters alike re-spawn after a short period of time. After several thousand years of living, one could assume that Specter has not just lived, but has also experienced numerous deaths and re-spawns. One would be correct in that assumption :') However, with time spent existing comes time learning how to not-die, and at this point in life Specter has got it down pretty well. He's experienced. What I'd like to do for him as a character on sub, though, is explore a little bit of his past; before he took on a powerful cloak and became The Specter he is today, and before he became more capable in his world. (My character, the one paired with Specter, is a bit of a goof? So I'd like to dabble in some Specter Stuff that deals with Specter-- or whatever his real name used to be-- before my character was introduced to the story, to keep it just a little more serious :9)
Also! I've been on subeta for many years, and in those many years I've gone through different phases of interests, like ya do, but now that I'm back after a bit of a hiatus I'm very much looking forward to developing all of my pets into their own characters and giving them profiles and art! Only issue is settling on characters for a few of them, but most have something written down that I can at least jump off of later! The ones that I've actually done work on I'm quite excited about, and if you'd like to take a look and see what might be in store for Specter should he be rehomed with me, you can see here on the profiles of Muzzle and Strayth (who's like... my most precious babe here on sub, I've had him for just so many years and I'm glad to finally be able to do something silly and fun with him like I always wanted <3) My other pets should have notes and stuff on their profiles while I work out what pet/color combos would work best with them and what I might like to do for overlays! I'm most fond of pet-edit overlays that tweak the original subeta art, like you can see with Strayth and Muzzle both (as well as Seclude), and I also very much enjoy drawing my characters on their own as well, like you can see on Strayth's profile ;u; I'm on subeta to help myself more than anything, and this place provides a very nice respite from daily life and obligations where I can just have fun with characters that are personal to me.
For Specter, I'd love to turn him into either a Glacier Lain, or a Glacier Harvester! I'm not a huge fan of the harvester species with two exceptions, and that's Glacier and Sweetheart (because they're just so dang cute???). The Glacier Harvester would also fit in with Specter's character sooo well. The lain is there because we've also related Specter to a crow, which I know the lain isn't, but Specter wears a cloak of white, which the glacier lain isss soooo... I'm unsure! I'm currently really digging the idea of a glacier harvester though, with of course some edits for an overlay v
Anyway, that about sums it up, I think? In essence, I'd love to host his character here on subeta to let myself and Lock dabble in his development a little more, especially with a nice profile, overlay, art and story!
