Tarot would be an OC. I have not decided if/what gender they will be, however, they would carry a set of old, tattered tarot cards on them which I would design. With these cards, they would pull what fate lies for others of their choosing. Not sure if they will be a dark or neutral character as of yet which would depend on who they use this ability on. (Good, bad, ext...) They are shrouded in mystery. No one knows their age, origin, or name.

Many believe that if you come across this shrouded figure, your fate lie in their hands. Others believe that it is this being that decides but the will of the cards, whether it be of random choosing or the cards deciding. What most do agree on, however, is that no matter what the outcome, it is not usually what it seems.There is an unlimited amount of meanings for these cards. Those that seem like the best cards in the deck do not always yield the good fortune some may assume they carry...

he got arrested under the accusation of being one of greylake’s most notorious terrorists, lithium eye, and the whole process of his arrest and the subsequent interrogation were absolutely appalling. he got drugged and borderline tortured to get a confession out – which he, not being exactly brave or strong-willed, easily gave. before he could face an inevitably unjust trial and execution however, a mysterious woman offered him a contract. auguste signed it without even reading.

i started writing out his story, which is still very much an unfinished draft, but i’m really enjoying writing it so far! anyway, basically what happens is that auguste gets roped into working for a government organization supposedly above the common police. they believe they can use him and his contacts (or perceived contacts, rather) to get to the higher levels of yrma’s eye and take them out once and for all. so auguste basically winds up becoming a spy. BUT the group he was meant to spy on easily figure out what he’s doing and offer him a deal: being a double agent and reporting back false information. considering it’s either this or death, auguste accepts.

the main themes of his story and character would be the unjustness of life and, you guessed it, the concept of penance and atoning for one’s sins. personality-wise, auguste is no saint. he’s lazy, uncompassionate, and only does things for others expecting a reward. the more time he spends with this anti-governmental organization, the more he learns just how unfair his society is (though he did experience that first-hand) and how ready they are to punish innocents if it suits their needs. this theme of unfairness is a common thread throughout all of my ‘the city’s future’ pets and is especially accentuated in folie’s story (i’d upload what i have so far but onedrive is lagging like hell sorry).

i write, draw and make profiles for all my pets! usually in that order. the two i’m proudest of right now are ruu and Naruse, who are also completed. other than them, kafka (and his unfinished story full of notes), favien, rizon and marcellin are also some of my favourites! for auguste i was thinking of making him into an experiment because it’s my favourite and i’d say it suits him! of course this might change depending on where i go with his design though.
